List of Emily Sikking, Md's Reviews
Hands down best OB ever. The office staff is very busy but for a very good reason. Emily takes her time with her patients and makes sure every question is answered. I have never felt more comfortable with a doctor before. Her nurse Lily is amazing and so sweet too. Will forever be a patient of hers.
Paid little or no attention to test results resulting in my distress for months. You trust an MD to be more attentive and she was not.
Dr. Sikking is a great doctor, she’sr, warm, caring and proactive to boot I wouldn’t go to anyone else!
Going to see Dr. Sikking has been a salvation for me, having menopause, she put an end to that helping me with the excellent care I need, talking to me very sincerely, and taking care of me on each visit, I had to have a hysterectomy, and the fact that she held my hand until the anesthesia kicked in gave me so much strength knowing that she is a human being. I highly recommend her.
After the birth of my second child, I had some concerns around healing and recovery. Though I have a wonderful relationship with my OBGYN, they are part of a larger hospital system so I thought I would "treat" myself to an out-of-network doctor, as it was my expectation they would be able to spend more time with me and provide a more thorough level of care. Unfortunately, this was far from my experience, and left me wishing I had just gone back to my doctor and saved myself the time, money, and emotions. To start, the doctor kept me waiting for over an hour and only came in after I asked the nurse if they were still planning to see me. While I was there, I was put in three different rooms -- one to weigh me and ask some preliminary questions, one for meeting with the doctor, and one for my actual exam. Each room was tiny and kept in pretty poor condition (scuffed walls, boxes of records/equipment, broken lights/equipment). Once the doctor actually came in, she was pretty cold and unfriendly in her demeanor. I immediately felt guarded and vulnerable, which is a horrible way to feel when you're speaking about something as personal as childbirth and recovery. During the conversation, she made repeated judgmental comments (e.g. in reference to where I chose to give birth... which was ultimately pretty ironic, given that my experience in that system so far surpassed this one). When we went in for the exam, she did so without any sort of curtain/partition between my open legs and the door 2 feet behind her (i.e. anyone can walk in at any time with you fully exposed). And then as I was leaving, I was told that the appointment was $700 instead of the $500 I was quoted because I chose to have the ultrasound. This was especially frustrating as this was not told to me on the phone prior to the appointment, nor during the appoinment when I specifically asked the doctor if there was any reason not to have the ultrasound if it was included in the appointment. She said there was no reason not to. Lastly, the office took my insurance information when I checked in. I asked them why, and asked if they were submitting for out of network benefits on my behalf. They said yes. They have not done so. It has been 5+ months and I have followed up twice.

Dr. Sikking is world class, literally in a league of her own. I rarely leave reviews but just feel as though the world needs to know how incredible Dr. Sikking truly is. I was so excited to be pregnant with baby #2 because it meant I got to be treated by her again and there is absolutely no one else in this world I would trust to deliver my baby. She is beyond brilliant, and someone else said it so perfectly - no ego in any way shape or form which is just one of the many reasons why Dr. Sikking will forever and always be my favorite doctor on the planet. My husband and I talk all the time about how choosing her as my OB was one of the best decisions we have ever made.
She is the best OBGYN I have ever been to, she is so personable, answers all your questions, takes time to listen, and I'm so glad I have her as my Dr. I Love her!!
Dr. Sikking is a rare treasure of a practitioner. I had two very tricky, complicated pregnancies (one emergency early C section due to cholestasis and the other early C section because of suspected placenta acreta and confirmed placenta previa). I can’t imagine having had any other doctor through those extremely scary and uncertain times. Doctor Sikking has the right balance of caring compassion and get down to business ability and no nonsense attitude. They say wisdom is knowing what you don’t know, and in that regard, Dr. Sikking is so wise! She was always humble and wise enough to seek the assistance and counsel of other doctors with my odd issues to make sure my care was the best it could be. She doesn’t have an ego in that way, which is hard to find with doctors. She is cautious but not alarmist and I love that she’s just a lil OCD. My kind of gal and doctor all the way around.
Wow. What an amazing doctor. I had been having pain in my lower right side/ issues with ovarian cysts and I felt like no doctor would listen to me. Dr. Sikking took the time to fully try and understand my symptoms and made me feel so comfortable and welcome. I was almost in tears about how positive my experience with her was because I haven't had a positive experience at the doctors office in a while. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
