I went to Exer in Santa Monica (next to Trader Joe’s). The doctor and nurse treated me with respect and they were very knowledgeable. The wait time was about 40 minutes (I was a walk in, but I think you can make an appointment too to reduce the wait time). Parking is easy (underground and entrance is on 23rd street). This is going to be my new urgent care when I’ll be sick again and can’t schedule appointment with my regular doctor right away.

The front desk receptionist was very nice and the doctor was helpful. The doctor gave me antibiotics but unfortunately the problem I had ended up requiring different medication. The doctor was very nice though. The reason I am giving this place two stars is because they didn't take my health insurance that I work so hard for so I was charged $215.00 for the visit that ended up not helping me. I had to pay for this visit with my credit card, so I will end up paying even more for the visit that didn't really help me. The office has really nice furniture and expensive looking artwork. It felt like I was being laughed at for being a sucker for paying this amount when they could have toned it down with the furniture and art. Healthcare shouldn't cost this much. It makes me sad that this is the state of health care in this country. It shouldn't be for profit. It was around 8pm when I got there and this was the only place open, so I didn't have a choice, as I was in pain. I appreciate that you are open late but I will have to stay in pain if something like this ever happens again and it's too late in the day to go to my doctor.

Very disappointed in the “care” I received for a wrist injury. Communication from the PA was nonexistent. She asked if I wanted a shot for pain and completely forgot to order it. She then ordered an x-ray, but disappeared for 2 hours and never shared the results with me. She had a tech splint my arm with vague instructions and no oversight, which led to it being done incorrectly twice. I walked out at 9:30pm after the PA had gone MIA (again) and the 3 techs sitting idle at the front desk had no clue what was going on.

Care was adequate, given that there was no doctor at the location when I arrived. Customer service was bottom of the barrel. Would never go back.

Initial sign-in was speedy and efficient with just one page required. NP Alma was extremely diligent and covered all bases. My first time at this facility and it receives high grades.

Horrible experience at Exer Urgent Care Santa Monica. We never got our bill receipt even after requesting for it so many times. We were asked to come pick it up in person as they don't have a secure mail, nor can they fax because we have to ping them when they're on call. Isn't it our right to get the bill ? When asked again, they said it's our fault we didn't take the bill receipt at the counter. Extremely disappointed. No reply to mails either. We were unable to reimburse from our insurance provider due to them.
