Had a great experience with Dr. Shamonki. Previously, I was PCFLA and it felt like a fertility factory. It was night and day coming to FSAC. Dr. Shamonki is so kind and patient. Personally gave me a call about my test results and always took the time to explain everything and my options in detail. Everyone in the office was always so welcoming and never made me feel rushed. Huge thanks to all the nurses & LaKeisha as well!

Went here for an initial consultation (which went well) but I was very unhappy with the followup. My husband and I did a carrier screening while there and was told the maximum price would be $500 per person but likely less. A few weeks later we receive bills for over $900 per person. Then we were told we would not pay out of pocket for the initial consultation yet we received bills in the mail and every time I call the billing department back I can't get any explanation, just pay it or they send me to collections. Not only that, there is no payment portal so they want a check sent in the mail. Last but certainly not least, after the appointment we were told to create our online accounts and upload all the testing we had already had done (we were already with a different fertility clinic but it is located far away so we wanted to transfer care). I had a few questions during this process + wondering where my test results were but was unable tor each anyone at the front desk for weeks. Obviously we decided to move forward with a different office, I can't imagine having to deal with this chaos when going through fertility treatments.

Currently 36 weeks pregnant with a baby girl from our first transfer with Dr buyalos . This clinic was amazing and the staff was wonderful 🩷 will be forever grateful to them . Would recommend to anyone struggling with infertility . Dr B is the best …

I recently visited Fertility & Surgical twice and had a wonderful experience. Dr. Mehr and the entire staff are truly amazing to work with. They made me feel at ease and well cared for throughout the process. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone ready to explore fertility options and begin their family planning journey. It's really nice to have a sonogram, blood & urine test onsite and getting it done right away.

We are so grateful that we found Dr. Shamonki and the entire group at Fertility and Surgical Associates. They were incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, patient, and responsive. We have shared stories with friends who have gone through similar fertility processes, and Dr. Shamonki and his team go so above and beyond. Dr. Shamonki made us feel at ease and always in great hands. Lakeisha is caring and warm and made us smile every appointment. Megan is so thoughtful and responsive and made herself available to help with questions at any time of day. Katelynn is knowledgeable and kind, and she created such organization around our processes. We also saw Dr. Mehr a few times, and she is equally fantastic. She’s smart, funny and great at explaining concepts. This whole office is so special and we could not recommend them more.

Through every up and down, Dr. Shamonki and his team handled everything with great sensitivity and understanding. We just cannot say enough good things about him. He is a blessing, and we have a baby on the way! I wanted to also specifically mention a member of the front-office team, LaKeisha. LaKeisha was so kind to us, so supportive. During the tough moments, the moments of anxiousness, she was always there with exactly the right words of support to help us keep going. Where does one begin?! I was a patient of Dr. Mousa. I came to him after loosing a baby at 20 weeks due to a chromosome deletion. It was beyond devastating. But we knew we wanted to conceive again and to use science this time around. Upon our first consultation at his Sherman oaks office, he was so sympathetic and patient to hear about what brought us to his office. Very caring and reassuring, did not rush to move on to the next patient. As our appointments progressed into his Thousand Oaks office and we began our IVF journey he was very communicative throughout the whole process. Explained everything in great detail and also just had a great disposition and humor when much needed. He always made himself readily available. I have never had a dr give out his cell number and text with embryo updates. It was so reassuring while you anxiously await updates that were going to come on the weekend. I am so glad he was our Dr throughout this whole process. His office, front office staff, back office nurses and surgical techs ran like a well oiled machine! Not only do they have a system down, but that system is so organized and works to a "T" to best assist the patients. From walking into the office and always being warmly greeted with a smile, to checking in to see how you're feeling, to giving stickers to my toddler that would often accompany me on appointments. To the back office assistants always greeting you, getting to know you and getting you comfortably set up in an exam room. Never had to wait for Dr. Mousa. To the nurses that would see you after your exam to go over all medications and how to administer. To always being available with just a phone call. The great surgical techs prepping you for retrieval or a transfer. Making sure your as comfortable as can be before going in, talking to you before your procedure, giving quiet time if that's what needed, to the anesthesiologist calling the day before to go over everything making sure you feel comfortable pre op and post op! Every step of the way they went up and beyond!! The happiest days of finding out you're pregnant to graduating and leaving the office, such a bitter sweet moment. I could not recommend this office and Dr. Mousa and his staff more.
