January 23, 2023 Dr. Krauss one of the four founders of Pacific Neuroscience Institute, has renewed my respect for the medical profession. Generally, very quiet and non opiniated, but, understands his skills and seriously empathizes with his patience desires for greater functionality and he will use what ever skills he has to make that happen. In addition, he can be very helpful and provide simpler details if requested of him. Each time I visit his office, I am truly humbled for what I have because, I see people coming from all over the world, for cutting edge procedures designed to simplify each persons healing processes and give each patient the greatest pleasures within life. Also, all support staff is kind gentle and considerate, while the offices are very clean. In closing, not only am I grateful to the improved vison functionality Dr. Krauss has provided to me, I want to call give a special thanks to all my other physicians that cared enough to realize I was suffering with challenges and instead of ignoring the symptoms I described each one of them referred me to a different specialist till Dr. Krauss repaired the issue. It is my true belief each one of these doctors truly love there profession and all there patients are truly fortunate to have them as doctors. Dr. Krauss is personable, patient and caring. Good doctor!

He saved from going blind from glaucoma. He is now part of provident and will accept most ppo and Medicare. Front and back office staff are efficient and helpful. Doctors competence is a given in most cases as in this case. Most hangups are with staff.

Dr. Krauss is a fabulous eye doctor! I had some complications due to a cataract surgery gone wrong from another eye doctor. Dr. Krauss able to diagnosis the problem for me, after a year of going from eye doctor to eye doctor, optic nerve damage, from the cataract surgeon. Although it is a permanent problem, he did do my other cataract eye surgery with absolutely no problems. Dr. Krauss was very kind, thorough, & helped make my "good" eye see 20/20. He's just the best at what he does!!!

Just wanted to take a moment to thank you for what you do! I feel very misunderstood in the medical world and have been living in pain for a long time. Drs have a hard time figuring me out and it’s easy to get dismissed because I don’t have a cut and dry diagnosis for my autoimmune disease. Anyway, I truly believe you are a miracle after suffering for years with no treatment or diagnosis for my eye pain (trochleitis). You give me back quality of life through pain management and that is a true gift! I know you work hard and see many patients, but I want you to know what a blessing you are to me. It is difficult for me to find words to describe the gratitude I feel towards God for leading me to this wonderful Dr. Howard Krauss. I truly believe he must be one of the finest neurological ophthalmologists in the world. For over a year I had a very severe and complicated condition of double vision. It affected every aspect of my life. I could not work, read, drive, watch television, or participate in most any type of everyday activity without this problem affecting me. After seeing numerous doctors I was directed to Dr. Krauss, who remarkably diagnosed two root causes for my condition, each totally independent of the other. He then performed two separate surgeries, one on each eye, and totally fixed my problem. The double vision is gone, and I now see everything clearly again. By God’s grace, Dr. Krauss has given my normal quality of life back to me. I cannot thank him enough for his kindness, willingness to help, patience, expertise, and skill. He is a true medical hero.

I honestly can not say enough kind words about Dr. Krauss !!! He is a Very Thoughtful, Kind, and Genius Neuro Eye Surgeon. I came to him with facial palsy caused by an emergency surgery that saved my life. I spent 20 days in ICU with my eye on high-beam - I wasn't even offered a roll of tape to close it. I came home a dizzy mess. I wore an external eyelid weight up until my eye surgery with Dr. Krauss. Any other Doctor would have just installed a weight into my eyelid. Not Dr. Krauss !!! He anchored my eyeball back into my head with his magical expert ways and now 21 days later I am not dizzy anymore! I thought that the dizziness was because the surgery I had caused loss of hearing in my right ear but as it turns out it was coming from my eyeball. I am feeling so good now !!! Dr. Krauss fixed my eye beautifully !!! I can close it naturally and it is looking normal again. I don't feel like I have to hide behind sunglasses anymore. I AM BEYOND GRATEFUL TO HIM FOREVER!

I had some moles on edge of my eyelid. My optometrist, Roxana Khorrami, recommended Dr. Krauss fro removal, and she was right on. He's primarily a top-rated neuro-opthamologist, but he treated my difficult mole removal so directly and simply - I was in & out of there in 20-minutes. A real pro with a lot of confidence & skill. Dr. Krauss diagnosed a tumor on my left optic nerve and successfully did the complicated surgery to remove it. This was 5 years ago. His care then and since has been extraordinary in every respect. Some eye-muscle trauma was inevitable from this kind of surgery, and he has expertly kept track with successive refractions to keep my vision perfect. I understand why he is considered one of the top eye surgeons in North America. Even with his expertise he is extremely personable and puts patients at ease, explaining things with clarity and concern.
