Shahrad Shamsi's Online Review Report Card

I owe a lot to Dr. Shamsi. I met him 20 years ago when pregnant with my first child. I was very ill. I have Crones and Colitis. Through the years of illness, surgery, hospitalization, mysteries, and ups and downs, Dr. Shamsi has cared for me, referred me and done everything humanly possible to provide exceptional care, seek answers and provide comfort. He is truly one of the doctors that makes a difference. I have been through a lot. Shamsi always makes me feel like I can handle what comes my way. He’s honest, thorough, caring and well connected. I have referred many friends and family to him and will continue to do so.

DR. SHAHRAD RADI SHAMSI AN INCOMPETENT, ARROGANT, NEGLIGENT AND UNSYMPATHETIC DOCTOR I cannot tell my whole story here but let this be a warning for future patients. Find another doctor. I have suffered greatly under his care. He has proven himself to be extraordinarily incompetent for his misguided diagnosis; shamefully arrogant for insisting on that diagnosis and refusing to perform any tests; grossly negligent for his failure to treat me; and wholly unsympathetic for abandoning me and showing no concern or care for my health and well-being. I am now under the care of another doctor and have been diagnosed with cancer.

Dr. Shamsi is an extremely knowledgeable and caring doctor. He has gone the extra steps to make necessary referrals and dives into research when a complicated issue arises. I have complicated issues and he always solves the problem and or finds the way to do so. He’s a great doctor.

I visited Dr. Shamsi’s office yesterday with severe pain and extensive continuous bleeding for 3 days. I am beyond blessed to be treated by Dr. Shamsi because of his knowledge, experience and genuine caring. He recommended me to the right surgeon immediately once he was aware I am traveling overseas for my honeymoon and within less than 24 hours all of the bleeding and severe pain is a lot better. Once again, I thank you.

The best gastroenterologist in Los Angeles! I was sick for a year and went to many doctors and spent a lot. Dr Shamsi was the only one who took the time to listen to me and in few months we will figure what I had thru tests and patience. I was heartbroken and thought that my stomach was never going to be the same but after few months I was perfect again thank God! PROS: 1- Affordable 2- Compassionated doctor not just out there to take your money, he will find the cure 3- Extensive knowledge of his field 4- Super clean and nice office 5- He makes all tests and procedures very easy for you 6- He will make TIME for you! Dr. Shamsi was very attentive and showed real concern about my experiences. He paid attention to everything I had to say and not once did I feel like we weren’t on the same page or that I had wanted a different outcome from my appointment. He was very thorough and ordered testing based symptoms that a primary care just ignored. Knowing that he is so kind makes it so that I will not dread my follow up appointment. I had to bring my 5 month old and 3 year old with me and he was so kind to them and made it a fun experience for the 3 year old which made it MUCH easier for me! This was probably one of the best doctor interactions I’ve ever had! Ps the nurses were also very kind and gave my 3 year old stickers 🙂

This Dr looks for things that I've never had a classically trained AMA Dr check for. Thankful to be finally getting some real answers for the real symptoms I've been dealing with for years!

Dr. Shamsi is thorough, thoughtful and has one of the smoothest running doctor's offices I've ever visited.

My wife and I both over 70 years old and did not have Colonoscopy for about 18 years, after I searched the best Gastroenterologists on Internet websites, we decided to let Dr. Shamsi to take care us. We started the appointments for both Colonoscopy and Endoscopy procedures last month, Dr. Shamsi and his nurses did excellent work for us. They all were so friendly and skillful. Doctor explained patiently and in very detail treatment plan to us. He also called us during night time to discuss the labotory tested results. We are so lucky to have him to take care of us. We will let Dr. Shamsi to do the same procedures this afternoon for my 46 years old son. We have 100% confidence and trust to this best qualified doctor.
