Rude front office. Avoid this doctor.

Dr. Knapp did excellent work on my left knee that had a hardware removal (because the previous surgeon that had repaired my ACL left surgical screws too close to my skin). It was an outpatient surgery in the surgery center connected to Dr. Knapp’s medical office. He answered my questions very well. I highly recommend Dr. Knapp for his excellent work in orthopedics!

TP, like toilet paper, May you lose both of your shoulders and legs while we're at it. People, don't believe politive reviews. It's cedars and bought up reviews in my experience. This BUTCHER has done 2 surgeries on my shoulders. Both are in worse condition than before I met this lunatic. I told hhim from the 2nd week after surgery that something is not right. He got mad like I've killed someone. Most all of my shoulder muscles uhe SUPPOSEDLY grafted are partially or fully torn, and I don't do any exercise or lifting. Bmy bicep tendon thst he kept saying it'll be better is now partially torn because of his botched surgery. Even the incision is like a zigzag cut like a 5 year old did itStay away from this self righteous arrogant sob butcher. I wish I could do the surgery on him. Karlan Jobe is a streamlined assembly line and an invoicing machine. They couldn't care less about you or me. They hire tis type of thugs and butchers who also could care less if anything goes well or if you die in operation. Plenty of insurance and finger pointing for everything. ATAY AWAY FROM KNAPP AND ANY AND ALL KARLAN JOBE PLACE. Knapp is not a human being. May you burn for all eternity in agony

Does not prescribe pain meds and seems to have a very lax attitude- either get operation or live with it. Very disappointing

Excellent care

Dr. Knapp has performed two shoulder surgeries on me that were necessary due to sports injuries. He knows what he is doing. He is a cool guy who is very personable. He won't tell you what you want to hear. He'll tell you what you need to know so you can make an informed decision. I wish I didn't have to go in for #3. But since I do, I am glad my doctor will be Dr. Knapp.

Dr. Knapp, MD has treated both my wife and son for shoulder conditions, both with excellent results. I have been in the medical field for over 40 years and I have known many shoulder surgeons. Dr. Knapp, MD is clearly one of the best in the LA area. I would not hesitate to refer a friend or a family member to him.

Nightmare experience at Dr. Knapp's office 11/29/21 I live far from this office and I took an Uber there. I am not wealthy, a disabled senior and I usually take 2 buses there. I remembered I wrote a bad review i believe which I took down. Dr. Knapp came highly recommended by my rheumatologist and my primary doctor for surgery and that is why I was seeing him. I had forgotten that this was a doctor I had seen before. I had an appointment at 9:30 a.m. I got there at 9:38 and was greeted by a lovely gentleman who checked my temperature with covid protocol. He said don't worry 8 minutes late is not a a problem as he directed me to go to Dr. Knapp's office.I met a young assistant who told me i was too late and needed to be there at 9 am & must reschedule as a new patient..I said I was not new. Then an aggressive receptionist showed up was so rude. She gave me a form to fill out out. I sat down discovered i had no pen and asked for one. she refused to give me one saying do it on rescheduled day as they could lose it.. i was stunned by this reply and insisted i was going to fill out form now.. as i sat down to fill out form her office called I picked up line and she barked u can't speak here go outside and filled out form. I told her it was your office that was calling..that didn't matter to her.. it was my fault someone called me. I don't think i even picked up to say a word ..and let it ring. She rudely directed me to go outside to fill form and speak.. by then the caller from her office had hung up.I went to exterior waiting room where the kind gentleman was surprised i was not seen. I sat down to fill out form and Dr Knapp 's office called again..I was so upset and traumatized that I don't remember i ever picked up. I asked the gentleman for a someone to file a complaint.I had called from the uber at 9:24 am that day sayingthat I was running late. and the guy who did the covid testing outside the office said no problem but let me tell you big problem rude rude rude. I don't know if it had anything to do with the fact that I'm a person of color but who knows. I have seen other bad reviews and I totally agree. I repeat I insisted on getting a pen as she had refused to give it to me before because she said no you can't fill it out here because we may lose it do it when you come in next time. Then my phone rang and it was their office calling me and I picked up and she said you can't speak in here aggressively and said something like lady go out and you can fill out the form outside. This was the most belittling experience I have ever had I will report it to my insurance company and file a complaint with st. John's Physicians Group and Providence and Cedar Sinai. What is a fact is at this Kerlan Jobe Cedars-Sinai Sinai orthopedic Institute u often wait up to 30 mins sometimes for avdoctor..there are wonderful staff and doctors as Dr. Soppe, and Dr. Lavish.Dr. Knapp may be a an excellent surgeon but his office bneeds to be sent to courtesy training. The office is run poorly with the exception of a lady named rishika. Supervisor came out and tried to make amends and she said we'll train them better but you know what I do not buy that stuff anymore I came here three years ago and it was the same BS

Obviously no one wants to have surgery but if it's your shoulder Dr Knapp is the man. He has a calming reassuring presence. He answered all my questions. The surgery itself went well. There was excellent follow-up from Dr Knapp. He has my highest recommendation.

Awful. Zero compassion and these people have zero desire to actually help patients in pain. Why become a doctor or work in a doctor's office if you truly do not care to help people?
