After a visit and my son diagnosed with a fracture. She over billed and didn't provide quality care.
I went with my son, he did not have even a fracture, she fabricated services just to get paid. Charged us over $6000 for a cast only, even though she said he probably doesn't even need one. She just sent fabricated bill
We had a terrible experience with Dr. Zaslow. When we had my daughters foot wrapped in her cast, they wrapped it completely wrong having to saw it off 5 min after they put it on. My 5yo daughter was TERRIFIED of the saw as it does look a little scary and its insanely loud. It required 3 of us to hold her down in order to get the cast off. I realize that eventually they would need to saw it off but it didn't need to be sawed off more than once. When it was wrapped, the cast didn't even cover her break. This situation could have easily been avoided had the doctor and the woman doing the cast have communicated prior to putting the cast on. Or even if the x-rays had been examined prior to putting the cast on. They ended up putting a boot on instead of the cast as they didn't want to have to take it off again. We have found a different doctor for my daughters follow up, we will not be returning.
Great experience with Dr Zaslow. Making an appt was easy. No wait time. Front office was friendly and accommodating. Appreciated Dr Zaslow's thorough and straight forward evaluation. She was great with my 10yr old daughter. Highly recommend.
Excellent experience with Dr. Zaslow. She is kind, understanding and supports my young athlete through all her injuries.
She is a savior- went to another doctor to get help with my 12 year old who had a concussion and knew nothing about a Return to Learn Protocol. This doctor knew everything, listened to our needs, did a number of tests on my daughter, helped make a plan for her to adjust back to school in the best way possible. I'm so grateful! I do wish there was a way to get new patient forms emailed to you before hand so you don't have to fill out everything there- but I'll take that with the wonderful care we were given.
Dr. Zaslow is the very best pediatric sport's medicine doctor in los angeles. I have 3 teenage boy athletes and I trust Dr. Zaslow for all things orthopedic to concussions. You will not find a better doctor. Tracy is also fantastic. The appointment scheduling, however is a problem.
This review is for Dr. Zaslow's office at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles (CHLA). We never saw Dr. Zaslow, so my review is of our waiting room and pre-visit experiences. After I made the appointment for my child, I received daily phone calls for a week from an automated system, prompting us to make an appointment. I assumed this was part of the referral process, as we were referred by another CHLA doctor. When I pressed 1, as directed, the recording said I had reached a number no longer in service. So there was no one I could talk to, to stop the phone calls (and no way to make an appt if I hadn't already).I phoned ahead the day of our appointment and spoke with the office manager to address an issue we wanted to handle privately--not in earshot of everyone in the waiting room. When we arrived, the item had not been communicated to the receptionist, and our privacy was not maintained. We were asked to come half an hour early to the appointment to fill out paperwork, which we did, at 2:15. Our appointment was at 2:45. We were not called into an exam room until 4:30. I understand that doctors can have delays in their schedules, and I appreciate that they respond to emergency calls as needed. I would have appreciated the receptionist letting us know Dr. Zaslow was behind schedule, and giving us the option to wait or reschedule.Instead we had several reassurances, over the course of an hour, that we were next. They also told another family, who had been there an hour at our two-hour mark, that they were next. I spoke with the mother and confided that we were seeing the same doctor, and told her our wait had been two hours. Two people who seemed to be office managers came out occasionally to scan the waiting room, tell the receptionist what to say, then retreat back to their offices.I felt sorry for the receptionist, as others were angry too, and she was on her own. No one seemed to be honest with us about what was going on. The last thing you want at your child's doctor appointment is to have stories made up about what's going on. They did validate my parking ticket, once we had been waiting two hours.Once we were in the exam room, we were again told we were next. After hearing the doctor see two more patients before us (thin walls), we left at 5:00.I had zero trust for this office and decided we wouldn't be coming back, so why waste more time and money on this visit. Such a pity. Making families wait that long without genuine communication is disrespectful, and poor healthcare.
Dr. Zaslow helpd me so much! I went from barely being able to standing up for five mintues to being able to run around and be a normal kid.
The receptionist(Sandra) was unkind and rude to my child. I was disappointed and decided to go elsewhere. Surprising considering this doctor is a pediatric orthopedist. There are plenty of good doctors on the Westside with professional practices. I recommend elsewhere.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
