List of Ucla Health Santa Monica Pediatrics's Reviews
Needed to do my daughters continued wellness check ups while I have been in California for a bit and randomly tried to find a pediatricians office that was nearby and had good reviews. I went with Dr. Karen Lin and she was great! She really knows how to be comforting as a doctor to children. My child who is normally screaming at the drs office did not cry once while the Dr was with her. She really is a nice caring doctor and knowledgeable especially when giving advice to first time moms. The wait has been a little long for my appointments and that is my only complaint. It would be nice if things ran a little more on time but overall a great practice!
Dr. Lin is the pediatrician for all of our kids and we absolutely love her.We don't live in Santa Monica and there are pediatricians closer to where we live but it's worth it for us to come to see Dr. Lin because of how great she is.This practice has several other doctors and I can't speak to them.We typically park on the street at one of the meters by Carl's Jr. But I think that there is a parking structure as well. All of the nurses and the staff we've interacted with have been very professional, friendly, and helpful. We've also had a good experience with the UCLA health system overall.Again, parking could be a little easier at this location, but we absolutely love Dr. Lin at this practice!
Our son has been seeing Dr. Feazell for 5 years now. He is wonderful -- very knowledgeable and great with kids. He has helped us with physicals, vaccinations, fractures, referrals, etc. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
My twins pediatrician is Dr Feazell. We have been with him since the twins were discharged from the NICU. I remember standing in his office with my son after he was shortly discharged from the hospital sobbing about my daughter still being in the nicu. I remember him comforting me through that. I also remember the chaotic non - stop and often discouraging appointments with specialists regarding my daughters health. He would always shine positivity upon the situation even during the darkest times. He would always be the voice of reason and calm. Fast forward 4 years I am so lucky to now take the kids in for "normal" issues. But I will never forget him holding my hands through the hardest times early on. dr Heath is also another physician in this practice who is amazing. It seems all the providers are compassionate, caring and intelligent.
We love seeing Dr. Ly as our pediatrician!! He takes the time to listen to all of our questions for our daughter. As first time parents, we have plenty of questions!! He even helped my husband trouble shoot our car seat and how to ergonomically carry it. Each medical assistant we have met has been lovely as well, and we never have to wait more than 10 minutes.
I've been taking my 3 children here for almost 20 years; my daughter, who just aged herself out, is 19. All of the doctors are superb. The staff is also really helpful and nice and competent and organized. I am so grateful for all of the help that The doctors, nurses, and staff have given my family throughout the years. I couldn't ask for a better place to bring my kids.
Caution, office staff is racist and selective on who they let in. If you are Asian and do not speak English well you may not be allowed in to see the doctor. They also do not let you communicate with the doctor. My 30 + years as a staff hospital nurse at UCLA did not even help me to talk to the doctor, even from a distance. I do not feel this was the doctors decision but the decision of the office staff. The whole experience felt very racially biased. I will not be back to that office again. Will R, RN
Dr Feazell has been great since the start. He is helpful during appointments in getting all of our new parent questions answered, setting expectations of what to look forward to, and quickly answering non-urgent questions online. When he was out of office, we virtually met with another pediatrician at this office and she was great too. They even give printouts with details of what you discussed with the pediatrician and helpful handouts. Glad I found UCLA Pediatrics!
My baby boy was seeing Dr.Princeton Ly, he is very friendly and patient, he listens and answers every question, and gives good advice. He also answers my messages quickly, in detail, mostly, I get a reply within an hour. I can feel that he is definitely passionate about his work, love, and care kids. I am out of the area so won't be seeing him, but I would recommend parents to have him as the pediatrician.
Do not trust anyone in this office! Don't let what happened to me, happen to you! Dr. Feazell strongly suggested that my preemie boys get the RSV (Synagis)vaccinations. These vaccines are super expensive, thousands of dollars worth. Their office staff (Nora) who was more conniving than a used cars salesman assured me that my insurance covered it all, which was a lie. It didn't even cover half, but of course they didn't care. Their office manager (Tatiana) told me that it wasn't their job to check for insurance coverage. Like this wasn't bad enough, they screwed up even more!! Dr. Feazell being the negligent, inexperienced, and irresponsible dr that he is, ordered another dose of this expensive vaccine 23 days after the RSV season was over, in the middle of the pandemic. They called me and tried to lure me to bring in my kids for the vaccine even though they knew It was unnecessary. I refused to take my kids in. They knew they messed up by ordering the expensive meds by mistake, and to cover their tracks, then their office staff (Nora) went into the database, used my identity without my permission and my knowledge, pretended to be ME, and signed my boys for a copay program to cover the fees, so I wouldn't find out and lodge a complaint against them. They lied to me for months that it was going to be taken care of, and that it was only a "billing error" I am disgusted and extremely disappointed with Dr. Feazell for his continuous lies and covering up for his staff. He never cared that my kids were going to get a vaccine that was no longer useful. He never cared about his patients who relied on his expertise. He just lied over and over again. So I basically paid over two thousand dollars for vaccines that were never used and never needed!! I begged them to return the medication to the specialty pharmacy so I wouldn't have to pay over 2000 for nothing, Nora refused and said it couldn't be done. Dr. Feazell, Tatiana , and Nora are despicable human beings and should be thoroughly investigated by the medical board and higher ups at UCLA!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
