If her medical ability is reflected in how her office is run she shouldn’t have a license to treat lice.

Please don’t torture yourself by trying to deal with this office; they’re in business solely for the purpose of preying on people in need.

Dr Porter is an amazing Physician, she answered all my questions and was very kind and understanding. I have recommended her to others and they also have been pleased. Highly recommended!

My father sees Dr Porter, I have not met her, however where physicians can truly fail is in the follow up and, in case of vulnerable and fragile patients like my father who has Alzheimer's, such unwillingness to go outside of the office, permits Elder Abuse to go unchecked. How could she fail to verify the Medical Advance Directive? How could she justify not corroborating the spouse's position when she learned of the court action?If physicians do not respect their patients enough to adhere to their mandated reporting and privacy obligations, it's no wonder so many elders are victimized despite extensive legislation designed to protect and ensure their safety. I am trying to find an email address for her. I will offer documentation of my father's reality. I just pray, Porter does what she should.

Dr. Porter is extremely thorough, kind and patient. I have already told several people about her practice, and I look forward to working with her in the future.

Seeing a doctor can often be fraught with worry and stress, and the last thing a patient needs is a harried physician who goes through the motions quickly and moves on to the next patient. Dr. Verna Porter is a sterling example of what a medical professional - especially in the neurology field - should be. Beyond her expertise, she is empathetic, soft-spoken and takes the time to answer any and all questions. She takes a humane and compassionate approach to patient care, which I’ve found to be very comforting. I’ve had my share of the purely transactional approach of other MDs. I feel fortunate and grateful to be in Dr. Porter’s care.

I found Dr. Porter when I realized it was time to develop a neurological baseline for myself. She is definitely A-Team, as are the neurologists she refers her patients to. I came to Dr. Porter on the recommendation of a physician who sends all his neurological patients to her and of a friend who has been a dedicated patient of Dr. Porter’s for 20 years. Dr. Porter’s comfortable manner in the initial interview put my wife and me at ease. At the end of the interview, she suggested detailed actions to establish the baseline and gave me a list of neurological specialists to help her develop a comprehensive understanding of my neurological self. After screening and tests by the specialists, I returned for a review with Dr. Porter. She placed their contributions in perspective and balanced them with the results of her own tests. My wife and I had our questions answered and came away confident that we have great support for the future. I highly recommend Dr. Porter.
