I made an appt with Dr. Watabe at her location in Oxnard, in Las Islas Clinic. The place was IMACCULATELY clean, and all the staff were warm, kind, and extremely professional. I had a little bit of a wait, but not bad at all. Even if it had been twice as long, she was WELL worth the wait. This appt was the best experience I've had with a doctor in years, and hands down the best OB GYN experience I've EVER had. She actually /listened/ to me. She was kind, sympathetic, and extremely knowledgeable. She laid out possible treatment options, explained the differences between them, answered all my questions, and was patient with me when I had trouble talking about some of the more delicate aspects. She didn't try to talk me out of what I wanted, try to downplay my symptoms, or talk down to me at all- which other OB GYNs have, in the past. Just, "this is what I want" "Sure! these are the options we have to make that happen." I had a fantastic experience, I'm delighted to have found her practice, and looking forward to the treatment plan decided on!! For real, Dr. Watabe is fantastic.

Dr. Watabe is a wonderful and caring health care professional. I’ve had some pretty bad experiences with other OBs and I was very stressed out to find another one and wasn’t expecting a good experience. But I was so wrong. Dr. Watabe is so knowledgeable and very understanding. Being a pregnant mom and not having my own mother to guide me through this I couldn’t be more great full for her. I honestly felt cared for and listened to. She has now seen me through two healthy babies and I’m beyond grateful for her. Also, she responds quickly to emails and follows through with referrals.
