I recently had revision/reconstruction surgery done by Dr. Culbertson from a mastectomy & reconstruction surgery performed 18 years ago. A plastic surgeon with whom I consulted at my prior health insurance told me that what I wanted was "too risky" and that I might "lose a breast" if he attempted it. I would not have been surprised if that would have been the case if I had proceeded with him for the surgery. I am so happy with the outcome of my surgery with Dr. Culbertson! He asks many questions during his consultation to ensure that he knows what you want, discusses how he would proceed with the surgery and the risks and possible outcomes involved, always checks each pre-op visit to ensure that no medications have been added either by the patient or another doctor that are contraindicated with his prescribed surgical medications and the surgery itself and is easy to communicate with. He answers questions thoroughly and willingly. All the staff I had contact with were very nice and professional, as well. I couldn't be happier with the results of the surgery and the care I have received from Dr. Culbertson and his staff.
