The last thing I thought that I would receive late in 2022 was a double bypass. My cardiologist at Providence referred me to Dr. Korver.This man is incredibly skilled at his craft.I had alot of fears about getting a bySometime during my childhood I remember a classmate telling me that he saw a thing about getting a bypass on TV and the part where they cut your sternum open was really painful because it was stretched open to do the procedure.That has stuck with me all these years later.I found it to be nowhere near as bad as I was expecting. Sure it was sore, but not at an extreme level.Dr. KORVER was great in everyway.I marvel at his surgical skills.This is the man to see.

Dr. Korver is a miracle worker! I had my triple bypass a few years ago and all has been well. He was on top of my problem and performed the surgery perfectly. Was easy to deal with and addressed my anxiety. Highly recommend. Give him an A+

Dr. Korver has always made my wellbeing his top priority. He promptly returns calls and takes his time to explain the situation. I feel well taken care of and highly recommend him as the top surgeon in Northern California.

Just a 1 year update.Aortic heart valve is still working great! Able to walk, hike and all kinds of stuff!Timing was good for heart valve replacement back in April 2020. Could not go anyplace so did not miss out on traveling for a few months. Now back healthy and got our 2 covid shot looking forward to traveling soon. Hope all is well at Korver office!

Dr. Korver is a brilliant surgeon. He completed a heart bypass on 3 arteries for me. His experience, modesty, bedside manner and skill level are unparalleled. You're lucky to meet him in your life!

Dr Korver is an amazing surgeon. He is super caring and makes himself available at anytime. I had a condition where I might need emergency surgery at any given moment, that moment came and Dr. Korver was right there when I needed him. He had given me his personal cell number and I called him to tell him I was on my way to the ER and he instructed me what to do and what to tell the ER docs. Before surgery he came to check on me in my room because he wanted me to remember seeing him instead of seeing me in pre-op. After surgery he called me on my personal phone to check on me and before I was discharged he came to the hospital just to check in on me. After I’ve been home a small complication came up and he made himself available again to tell me what I needed to do and who I needed to see and even offered to see me on a Sunday if needed. I’ve not had any major surgeries before this but I know people that have and it doesn’t seem like many other surgeons give the care for patients like Dr. Korver. I highly recommend him if you’re in need of a Cardio-Thoracic surgeon.

My 89 yr old mother began to have issues with suspected mini strokes. She was diagnosed with Aortic Stenosis and was referred to Dr. Korver. He spent a great deal of time interviewing her, taking her from her childhood to present time. After he finished, he told her she did not have much time left on this earth unless she had a new aortic valve, and the sooner the better. I asked about her chances and he said they were very good, and with a new valve she should easily see 96! I checked out his credentials when I got home and I was embarrassed I asked him so many questions. Mom had her successful open heart surgery within two weeks at the old Santa Rosa Memorial, and had an uneventful recovery. She just celebrated her 96th birthday and you will not find a more caring, and better heart surgeon than Dr. Korver!

I left a review in October 2017 about the Aortic Valve replacement Dr. Korver performed on my 89 yr old mother. He told me after the operation she had the lungs of a young person, as she had never smoked, and said she was likely to see a 96th birthday. I just wanted to say, she just celebrated her 96th , and it is safe to say, this is because of Dr. Korver and his excellent staff. Thanks, and for those in the same boat, looking at advanced age open heart surgery, you won't find a better heart surgeon.

Five years ago, Dr Korver and Dr Schmidt and the nurses and residents at St Joe’s saved my life after I was attacked with a knife. So I’d just like to thank them for that. Pretty much every thing is as good as new.
