List of Richard Pollock Md's Reviews
Richard is one of the most detailed, experienced, honorable, reliable, tile craftsmen in the Bay Area. He does everything with integrity. His work is impeccable and he is very trustworthy. He has installed the tile in most of my house and it is just beautiful. Prior to Richard laying the tile throughout my house, I had a tile contractor install tile in one of my showers. Unfortunately, that person was not a craftsman (my fault, I didn't know the difference). Once Richard came in and tiled the rest of my house, I could see a vast difference in the integrity of his work. There is no comparison. Now I want Richard to redo the original bathroom because I know the grout lines will match up correctly and he will choose the best tiles from the batch and place them appropriately rather than just quickly rushing through the job. Richard has made a name for himself in the Bay Area over the years and is sometimes booked out, but to those wanting one of the best craftsman in the area, he's your guy.
Amazing Doctor would recommend him to everyone I can !!!!!!!!
My husband has gone to Dr Pollak for years and has had several foot surgeries . Each time successful. We highly recommend He's the best👍
He seemed short with me when I complained that there was still an issue. Had the feeling he thought it was in my head. Wasted over $900 dollars with no results. Very disappointed.
He's the best there is in the business. Everything he does is done with thought and care. He arranges tiles in several ways prior to laying them. He also uses the mortar bed method where the shower is mudded which insures that all the walls are plumb prior to the installation of tile. Most tile contractors these days just throw up a board and who knows if the walls are plumb or not. The grout lines are clean, everything is waterproof and very well sealed. He also doesn't make a mess and is a pleasant person to have working on your house. The quality is extremely high and he does all the work himself so the quality is consistently good. I had a dozen subs work on my house during a substantial building project and his execution and preparation was the best of all of them. He takes his time to do a good job and he's never rushed. He isn't cheap, but you mostly get what you pay for in construction.
I went to see Dr. Pollak because I had severe pain in 3 of my middle toes on my left foot and I could barely able to walk. He took x-rays of my feet. All he had to say was that it looked like my toes were injured at some time. He was no help to me at all. I still can't believe that he did absolutely nothing to help me. It was a complete waste of my time and money.
Dr Pollack was good up until an appointment I had where I had to wait thirty minutes more after being on time. No one from his staff came to advise me of an emergency he might have had. I asked to reschedule. When I returned I was informed by his rude staff that because I did wait fifteen extra minutes, he didn't want to help me. I turned him over to the Medical Board for this. His staff are all unprofessional and not courteous. I would not recommend this doctor.
Great doctor! I highly recommend. He was so caring and thoughtful. He listen to all of my problems and seem to really care about my feet.
was not pleased with visit, waited over hour to see doctor that seemed to not care about problems.
The staff was fine. First visit I commented on wait of over one hour and they were surprised. Said they weren't backlogged. I didn't feel doctor listened to me or wanted to be bothered by my questions. After second unsuccessful visit when he told me he had fixed my problem and hadn't, I found Jessica Rutstein. She answered questions I didn't even know to ask and created a conservative, step by step, approach to ensure we identify and correct the problem or problems. Her first step of prescribing new tennis shoes worked wonders.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
