List of Santa Rosa Community Health's Reviews
When I started going to Santa Rosa community health, they were so caring..I had a wonderful doctor Gerald Eleiser. He took such good care of me!! If he wasn't there and it was really important another doctor would call or see me.. After 10 years with him as he was retiring,We were moving to another county my disability insurance had me go to a doctor there ..Who also treated me very well. Then the wildlife broke out and we lost everything ! We then moved back to Santa Rosa and I went back to SR community health,Well I can tell you that if my doctor isn't there I am left to go to ER or wait on standby for as many hours as it takes last time I had to wait for 5 hours because my doctor called cancelled morning appointment and didn't offer me another time..I am on medicine that must be filled on time.If she doesn't cal it in I have to get another doctor which means waiting most of the day, for a medication fill?? And then when I finally do see her she seems not to hear me and says ok and then doesn't follow through..I feel like I don't matter, being disabled since 9 at 60 you would think I would be treated better....Then I fell a week ago, called and left message for my doctor as it was very important.. Nothing no one called me not the doctor on call nothing!! No call back until yesterday? A week later? I couldn't talk at the time and she said she would call today well I got a call from someone else saying that I have a appointment tomorrow on the phone? How are they going to see what happened to my bad knee? So I say this to her and she hung up on me .. What's going on with SR community health as many others are feeling the same way?? I am 60 years old and I deserve to be treated better! I even told my doctor if you aren't happy treating me let me know..She said oh no and I thought we came to a understanding.. Guess not..She has no idea what I go through in a daily basis and I have attempted to explain but????
Staff was very rude and said they didn't know where the Kaiser facility was located after 1st telling me I was in the correct location for my prescheduled test. Kaiser facility was 1/2 mile down the road.
This place has turned to a call center rather than a health care facility. We cannot get inperson care for a fractured foot. I had to go to ER for everything until they become worse. I know they following the safety protocols but come on have a common sense. Come up with a portal or alternative ways to contact the care team and the doctor. Community health means it does not have to be the worst one.
Dr. Jekyll & Mr. HydeDr. Jekyll will do a respectable job treating your physical ailment. If you're facing addiction, homelessness or mental health challenges, in a abusive relationship, or struggle with chronic ailments, Mr. Hyde's psychologists and social workers will listen to you so they can charge whomever pays your bill, but they don't care and won't help. Go directly to help that really is help, not someone paid to listen to you. Good medicine & evil. Choose carefully.
WHAT A JOKE OF A PRACTICE!! I can never get in touch with an actual doctor because you just call a call center. I've been waiting over a week for a very important ultrasound results, that could potentially lead to me needing surgery. Well, today I call and asked why it's been over a week to get results back that should only take two days tops? I was informed that the doctor that ordered the ultrasound was no longer with the practice. If I didn't call today asking questions, I would have never probably received answers for what's going on with me. Do not waste your time with this place!!
Wow, talk about a joke of a practice. For starters, you can never get in touch with your actual doctor or doctors office. You call a call center, where you are usually on hold for at least 10 minutes. I'm trying to get in touch with my provider to refill a prescription for an outbreak I have. After not hearing back for over 24 hours I call back to see what's going on. Well, I'm told it usually takes the doctor THREE DAYS to even get the message. I'm sorry but the fact I have a contagious condition I'm at risk for passing on to my 15 month old child but it isn't a priority is absurd. I'm switching doctors offices after this.
Before the doctors were great there. I went there after 2 years. Everything in this place is great except for the doctors. The doctor I met was not helpful in any single way. Very rude and impatient when we are trying to explain something.

I recently had my first ever experience with Vista at the Airway campus. We have always had Kaiser up until a year and a half ago when my husband's job closed it's doors. I was able to avoid using this service at all until my youngest needed a doctors visit in order to be admitted into school. The phone tree to make an appointment was bothersome, but I eventually did get an appointment. A day or two before the appointment, I get a confirmation message, didn't pay too much attention because I knew about the upcoming appointment. Not until the day of the appointment do I get another voicemail in which I realize I'm supposed to call back to confirm, or the appointment gets canceled. Annoying, but fine. So when I call back, I have to go through the phone tree again and wait to speak to a real person. I don't remember exactly how long I had to wait, but it was more than 10 minutes. Just so I don't loose an appointment I already spent time in making.Come the day of the appointment, the waiting room was a hot mess. The paperwork was incredibly obnoxious and amateur. I hate it when they say "sign this form saying we have informed you of your rights" when they haven't actually informed me of my rights. The precise thing to do is not sign it until I have been informed of "my rights". The receptionist would not let us proceed without the signature and said it was referring to HIPAA laws. OK, saying "HIPAA" is not informing me of my rights. So I think the wording on the form needs to be fixed. I know what HIPAA is thanks in no part to Vista. So the part that is supposed to fulfill the requirement of informing me of my rights is so vague and doesn't inform of actual rights. And since I was there for my daughter, some of the forms I was supposed to sign didn't make sense at all. Like I was supposed to sign for the patient, but the patient is not of legal age, so not binding anyway. Then she tells me to sign my name where it says "patient", but I'm not the patient. Technicalities, sure, but these inconsistencies are so unprofessional. After waiting some time, we finally see a Doctor? I have no clue what she was, she was not the MA, but she was being observed. She conducted the visit so awkwardly, I wondered 'has she even done this before?!'. And my poor child, she was not given a gown and was just told to pull down her pants. SOOOOOO WEEEEIRD!!! I had to jump in and stand next to her and help her along to make it less creepy. Not the experience I want my girls to ever have again. Moving on with the appointment, I've been a mom for the last decade, but the questions she was asking me were so basic I kinda felt insulted. It was very bizarre. Like I really just needed to get this over with so my daughter could be accepted into school. Then we wait more. And I had no idea what we were waiting for until another, obviously very experienced pediatrician, came in to do the same thing. She was great, I really liked her.Overall, I'm very saddened that the old saying "You get what you pay for" holds true here. I can only imagine how much more maddening it is for families who can't afford to, but must take off of work to deal with this inefficient bologna. Sadder still that fixing these problems shouldn't even be hard for people we're supposed to trust with our healthcare.
I have been a patient for many years and finally I found the Dr who was perfect for me. Dr Anne French not only has helped me get my blood pressure in check but also has helped me with my back pain, weight and anxiety issues. It's hard to find someone who takes a active interest in your health and well being. For a long time I felt I was being swept under the rug with my treatment at this facility and I was desperate for that change and I'm glad it has. I'm much better off than I was 6 months ago thanks to my awesome care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
