Santa Rosa Community Health's Online Review Report Card

Been on the phone for over 2hours trying to make an appointment and no answer! This hasn't been the first time the doctors are awesome but the front desk is terrible!!!!

I absolutely love Santa Rosa Community Health. I go 2 the Vista Family Health Center up on the hill Round Barn Circle. I have a really gd doctor who knows wat he is doing. He definitely cares about his patients. He is the best doctor that I ever had as an adult. He does an amazing job. They definitely know wat they r doing. They r also very helpful, kind, & caring. They definitely know how 2 treat their patients right. They also very nice & helpful if u have any questions. It's also nice that we can email our doctors & request med refills through the portal online.

Told to call specifically at 7:00 am on the following Wednesday morning to get one of the “10 new patient appointments available per week”. When I finally got ahold of someone they told me they are no longer accepting new patients. Garbage

The trick is to get your appointment made for 7am when they open. Everyone is so kind in the morning.

I waited forever to get an appointment. I called every Monday for months. When I finally got one I got there they told me they couldn’t help (they couldn’t see me that day) so that was it. I never tried again.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My son needs dental work and they refuse to do it. I asked for a referral to an outside practice. The dentist won’t give one. I called the pediatric specialist- they won’t see him without a referral from his regular dentist. Meanwhile, my child is in pain and they don’t care at all. I have yet to find a solution.

2021 edit:I don’t know why I had such a bad experience in the beginning. I think it was a fluke, or perhaps even a mistake on my part. The SRCH clinic is very busy, and they did end up getting my appointments pushed through and completed the dental work for me. Although I had some negative experiences there initially, in the end the majority of experiences were very positive. They are an excellent clinic and provide top level dental care. Please take my initial review with a grain of salt.Worst front end experience I’ve ever had at any health clinic. At one point they didn’t release my records as required by HIPAA, the DR who needed the records pointed out that this was against the law, at which point SRCH quickly released the records. They still won’t release records to me directly, as required by law (haven’t bothered confronting them on it, yet).I have had the dentist put in an “urgent” request to finish work (life threatening infection in my jaw) then had the front end office “misplace” the request, resulting in weeks of waiting for the appt. When not “urgent”(just cavities that the dentist wants filled ASAP), wait times for an appt can be over 2 months.I’m currently looking for another dentist that takes Medical-Cal.

Won’t answer the phone I’ve been trying to calling since last week and no answer!!

They have an automated system that sends out unintelligible messages by phone When I called to ask someone what this message I received was about the person who answered was not in the least helpful, and transferred the call to their general voicemail If the persons responsible for sending out these automated messages actually had tried listening to them they would have realized there was a problem.
