Dr. Zechowy is a really good doctor. He is smart, he explains things well, he listens, & is a compassionate doctor. I like him & trust him.

Very professional, the best I've been to for my sinus troubles. I've had two surgeries by Dr. Zechowy and never have felt any pain. Great doc. (patient since 2011)
Dr. Z is one of the very best doctors i've seen. He is thorough, answers every question so i can understand it, & is always gracious. I am not thrilled with how long it takes to get an appointment, but that is not a problem of the doctor, it's a problem in santa rosa.
I've been to Dr. Zechowy 2 times due to insurance restrictions. He also prescribed tubes which are not a prescribed method for my condition and the second time he saw something white in my ear and tore my ear drum while using suction to remove it. He seems to be absent and unconcerned when talking to him.
This is a great doctor. He is very thorough, very intelligent and probably the best doctor i’ve seen in awhile. I’d give him 10 stars. cj gehring
Longest wait times ever. Dr. Zechowy does not make eye contact, is dismissive, and rarely leaves me feeling like he cares about my complaints.
I have gone to Dr. Zecowy two times, both for sinus problems. He was able to get to the heart of the issue quickly and prescribed the right medicine which cleared it up immediately. He also, provided information about future bouts. He is a pleasant person who is good at what he does.

Doctor Zechowy is a wonderful doctor but his staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. Specifically, the two women working in the front desk. received nothing but negativity and unacceptable behavior from these two. Did not feel welcome at all because of them. Consider replacing for better business doc.
I would NOT recommend this doctor. He rushed through our appointment and was not thorough. I came in complaining of ear pressure. I was given audio tests (by another very kind individual, not the md). When he saw that the audio test was fine, he sent me on my way. No suggestions of other routes of investigation, nothing! It was only because I glanced at a poster on the wall that I thought to ask if this condition could be related to jaw pain, and he said "a matter of fact yes" on his way out. I had to go home and do my own investigation to learn about the relationship of posture to jaw and ear issues. You would think a head and neck doctor would mention that, knowing that nothing is wrong with my hearing but I am still suffering. This was a waste of time and money, and very frustrating.
At first I rated this place 5 stars. After learning that this place offers empty promises on dedication to their patients I would give it a zero.Let me explain myself and then you can judge.3 MONTHS ago I was seen here. I can honestly say the check in process was efficient and the Doctor here, Stefan Zechowy is a great doctor in my opinion. Why the bad review then? Trish the main manager and the billing department. I paid for my visit upfront when I was told by Rosie the secretary that my insurance was in question if they accepted it or not.That should have been a red flag right there. I trusted they knew better and went ahead and paid out of pocket it for the visit. I was told by Rosie multiply times that if my Insurance did end up paying for it I would get a refund for it. Not a problem then. A few weeks go by and I get a letter from my insurance saying they had paid my visit. Awesome so I should get my refund right? WRONG! I waited 2 weeks and nothing so I called in and spoke to Trish who passed me to the billing dept. They said they would issue a refund check and I should get it in 5-7 business days. Ok not a problem things get behind I get it. Did I receive a check. NOPE! I call in again and more empty promises from Trish who said she would take over and call me back with information. Never did hear back. Now when I call it rings 2-3 times and guess what forwarded to voice mail. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Not only are they holding on to my money, they have double dipped with the insurance, not taking responsibility for it and dodging my calls now. If this is any example of how they treat patients let alone customers then I am horrified at what others have gone through here.DO NOT GO HERE! FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE! It is up to you to decide if you listen to my tale of caution. 3 months of no accountability here.

a normal visit with a copay of 20 bucks got changed to 20% of 600.00 for the same procedure.What was the difference? The good doctor asked, "would you like to see what I'm seeing on the monitor" ( a tv monitor across from the patients chair. I said sure. So I saw the inside of my ear. Unfortunately the charge went up to a $120.00 co-pay BECAUSE the agreement between the physicians and the health insurance interpret this practice as Surgery. While I was curious to see with my own eyes what the doctor was viewing; it was and is my opinion that there is a lack of integrity in NOT Telling the Patient that the view would come with a huge charge that increased my cost X6. I argued with the insurance company who sided with the doctor. If this isn't medicine gone wrong, I don't know what is. Wonder why we in the US pay more than any other country in the world for physician assistance and medication? It's practices exactly like this one. I was Dr Zechowy patient for one visit. When I got the bill and recognized his lack of good will towards me; that was the end of me allowing him to be my physician.

Was not helpful at all. After reading positive reviews here, I went to him about a painful ear problem that had been ailing me for over a year. The advice I received was to try some Sudafed and (may personal favorite) wear a hat. Maybe he thought I was exaggerating? He seemed to be in a hurry to rush me out. It was a big disappointment because I had to save to go see him in the first place, now I have to start over to go see another specialist when I can. Scheduling was a nightmare as well.
Dr Zechowy talks very quickly and uses large words that are hard to understand. He does not seems very thorough when explaining CT scans and MRI's. I leave feeling more confused than when I came in. Still having the same problems with my ear, and the problem is worse if anything.
Dr. Zechowy and his staff were very welcoming. I was especially impressed with his knowledge and ability to make me feel so comfortable.
