Dr. D & Kaylee are both great, he shares his insights & clearly answers all my questions & she also answers questions & returns my VMs promptly. I hate W/C, but I sincerely appreciate their help navigating it!!
Have been going to Dr. Degenhardt for years with knee problems. Always informative and explains in detail any question asked. Has a very easy going approach with patients and takes the time to explain all diagnois and treatments that are available.
I was suffering knee pain at night, which would not let me sleep. The staff at SRO got me in quickly to see Dr. Degenhardt, whom I am very impressed, and found to be very personable and professional. The onsite ex-ray technicians were great and before I knew it, Dr. Degenhart was explaining what the x-rays showed. I highly recommend SRO and especially Dr. Degenhardt.
The atmosphere was very professional and even though some patients were very rude the office staff remained calm and professional. Of course, Dr. Degenhardt knew exactly what needed to be done to help me. I was treated as a real person which is hard right now in the medical field. Usually, you are watching your physician type on a computer while the doctor is talking to you. Not in this office and it is refreshing to be a patient where you are cared for!
I was able to finally have relief from the shoulder pain I had been enduring for 5 months. I was diagnosed with a torn rotator cuff and very severe arthritis with tendonitis and bursitis throw in for good measure. Dr. Degenhardt gave me a pretty intense shot of cortisone in my shoulder, which wasn't as awful as I had anticipated. The evening of and the next day was not very pleasant, but also not as bad as it was before the shot. The second day after that I had tremendous relief. Thanks, Doc
It's even hard to give this doctor a one star. terrible bedside manners and total lack of empathy or humanity Did nothing for my terribly painful frozen shoulder...no PT, no injections and zero suggestions.
Careful, candid and professional approach all combine for a reassuring experience.
Dr. Degenhardt is knowledgeable, warm & welcoming, and assuring, all the assets you would want from a doctor, especially when you are in pain and concerned. I'm so glad I found him. I had experienced significant knee pain and was diagnosed with a torn meniscus. He diagnosed the problem right away and offered several options for intervention.
My visit with Dr. Degenhardt was horrible he spent 6 minutes and during that time he poked my shoulder 3 times with his finger told me it was calcium buildup & do I want a cortisone shot & if not today then just let him know when I'm ready then he laughted and walked out the door this was the worst doctor I've ever seen he's rude, in a hurry & informed me nothing of my condition, he comes to our clinic in Gualala May be he thinks he's on vacation & can't be bothered.
He is absolutely the best! He did my last of four surgeries on my knee in 2006. I was falling when I was getting on my yacht with groceries, instead of letting the groceries go into the water I jumped like I was in my 20's to save them and hit really hard on my deck and kept legs straight. My knee got crunched. I am 64 years old. I tried to heal it and build muscles back for almost a month before I broke down and went in today. He is still amazing. He set up a program for me of cortisone shits every two weeks for a month and then moisturizer shots after that for same time. I really don't want a replacement if possible and he was on board with that. Just that one shot today has taken my limp away and the pain is zero. I don't do pain pills or even aspirin, so I suffered this whole time. I can't believe it it, but my knee feels a hundred percent better. No limp. He is not only brilliant and professional, but also very kind and compassionate. So glad I saw him. He is a professional! Thank you thank-you thank you Doc!! .

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
