Kin Wong's Online Review Report Card

I've had Dr Wong to be my primary for many years and found him to be very hit and miss. Sometimes he is pretty thorough and helpful, other times when you tell him of a concern, he just shrugs and doesn't say anything. He also made me super uncomfortable once as a woman alone with him it seemed he took the exam too far for no reason - this might have been a miscommunication error as English is not his native language, but it still made me uncomfortable. If he wasn't one of the only doctors my insurance takes, I would probably switch.

I rarely write reviews online, so I'll be honest with you, Dr. Wong is one of the few responsible doctors I've ever met. He cares about and reminds the patient's needs, carefully analyzes and explains the patient's condition, and gives a reasonable and effective treatment plan. Miss Connie at the front desk was sincere and kind. The best doctor in San Diego

I was recently referred to Dr Wong through some friends because I was in need of a second opinion, let me say that I am so glad I meet Dr Wong. He was very attentive to all my questions and very thorough with all examinations. I had some concerns over my blood pressure as told by another doctor who immediately just put me on blood pressure medication with no explanation. When I meet with Dr Wong he explained to me that mine was a little high but nothing that requires any medication but rather a few lifestyle changes. Awaiting to set my appointment for some blood work and has told me that as soon as I get it done he wants me to come back for a follow up and to go over my results. In one visit I have gotten more communication from Dr Wong than I have in my years of visiting my former doctors office. Happy to say I have found my new primary care physician

Dr Wong has always made room for family when we needed him too. No surprises and always professional. He listens well and we’re never rushed. The office is friendly and will make time for you. We’ve been with him for at least 25 years, maybe even longer.

Dr. Wong is a fantastic physician. He is thorough and really cares for his patients. He has been our primary doctor for almost 30 years and is a wonderful physician making sure we are getting the appropriate tests every year. We are so grateful to him. Connie is also so special because she listens and makes sure we have our medical needs taken care of. We love going to Dr. Wong.

He is an excellent doctor. He listens to his patients and does the appropriate referrals. He's able to review my labs and tests and explain the results in lay terms and the impact on my health if I don't make changes. I would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a generalist or family doctor.

Dr. Wong is the first physician who gave me a through check up and gave me relief that had eluded at least two other doctors in La Mesa. I've been complaining of swollen and painful ankles for many months. I was never given the proper tests or diagnosed with anything treatable. In two days, after seeing Dr. Wong, I've achieved more relief than I've had in the last 8 months. I highly recommend Dr. Wong. He has been patient, understanding and through!

Not a good first impression....a waste of time off work and moiety. Even after confirming the price of the visit prior, it changed when I arrived. Dr. Wong doesn't address my concerns but will write me a referral to someone who does, so after upcharging my appointment copay, I basically just paid for a referral. All of the equipment is old.... they did my blood pressure and pulse using a watch.... by hand.... without gloves. I should've trusted my instincts and gone to a larger practice. I'll definitely be choosing another doctor for the future.
