Dr. Scannell is one of a kind... truly the best peds doctor they’ve got at Santee. I’ve been taking my girls to her and they absolutely love her. She doesn’t ever rush you, she gives great advice/direction, very likable, personable and overall, she’s just an excellent doctor. I highly recommend Dr.Scannell.

Hands down, the best pediatrician ever. She takes the time to get to know all of her patients. In my opinion she goes way above her job duties. Thank you Dr. Scannell for loving our children as if they were your own! Anthony and Michelle Schachner

There are good doctors and then there are great doctors. Dr. Scannell is in a superior category of her own. I say she is an amazing doctor! We have two children with Down syndrome along with other health issues. Dr. Scannell cares for them and has done so for over 10 years. She is always under demand but we have never feel rushed. She is not afraid to scold me or encourage me as dad of my 2 kids! I remember one time when I saved a prescription and used it later on my daughter! Well never again! The last visit she had a cast on yet still working, while standing, to help us. If Dr Scannell is your doctor you will always see a smile mixed in with genuine care and concern from a VERY bright Woman who I am so glad to call our kids doctor!

She is amazing! She takes time with each child, making sure they are comfortable with everything she is doing. She pays extra attention to small details that may go unnoticed. She cares about the patient's parents as well. She knows my history and follows up with me every time I come in as well. She doesn't push antibiotics like most MDs do. She always talks to parents respectfully and discusses any decisions you make for your child. Her staff is also amazing! I am so glad I found her.
