Santee Family Medicine's Online Review Report Card

Once this place switched from Mountain Health to San Ysidro Health it went downhill quick. Today is the 4th day in a row I've tried to call and so far I've been on hold for 2 hours. Jay is gone now and I have NO idea if Jill is still there. This is horrible. They need to provide a direct line to our receptionists in Santee. Terrible service.

Jay Cool is amazing he is no longer there, sad to say. Very kind man and very attentive. I’m sure he will be missed by all his patients. Good luck Jay take care of yourself, thank you so much. Francyne Wheeler

Avoid this place at all cost. It’s been a month and a half since first taking my son here for his required exam to start school. A month and a half!!! Several phone calls, emails, follow up visits, and just showing up trying to get the signed paperwork for him to be able to start school and getting nothing but unfulfilled promises and apologies.Honestly, heed the other reviews as well as this one and just steer clear.And nurse Nancy is just a complete mess.

The doctor care is very good, but front office staff seldom answer the phone, seem untrained in making appts and accessing computer info. This has been ongoing for the 2+ years I have been coming here. Nursing staff is often short and impersonal.

Worse place ever!! 0 is not enough for them it should be -0, first they don't answer their at all!! 2nd they don’t send refill to the specialist correctly. You have to take of every single thing by urself. Worse place ever!!!

Great place and they have an amazing doc JCool hes amazing he sees my mother on law. He genuinely cares for his clients.

I started coming to Mountain Health about a year ago for chiropractic services. I was so happy with the treatment I received, I decided to make Mountain Health my primary provider. Everything was great until I had my first visit at the Santee location. Don’t get me wrong I love Santee too, it was SAVANNA, the nurse that greeted me and tried to make small talk with her but she was very short and would not smile. I thought maybe she was just having a bad day, however I’ve been coming to this location regularly and she’s always like this. I feel uncomfortable in her presence I feel like she’s mad.So I brought my husband and who never goes to the doctor, his blood pressure was 135/110, you would think that Savanna would have some compassion or concern. My husband said, that’s kind of high? Savanna was short with him too and said yeah right this way. The doctor was so concerned with his blood pressure she almost sent him to the HOSPITAL. Then Sean needed an EKG, oh no in walks Savanna with a red face and a frown. She put the stickers on his chest like she absolutely hates her job. Once again we tried to talk to her and she was short with us and rude. Throwing the cords around his chest in a manner that made us both uncomfortable. We told Dr Barthe how rude she was and said there was no way we wanted her to be the one to draw blood from Sean. We left and went to Quest for that. In all my years here in San Diego 47 to be exact, I have never had WORST CUSTOMER service IN my life! I wouldn’t want Savanna work me even if I were dead!!

Giving one start because of their customer service, called them 10 minutes before they close to change my health office because its too far from where I live and no one picked up the phone. They close at 5p.m. so that means you suppose to work till the last minute, my issue would litteraly take couple minutes. Never been to their place and already don't like it!
