List of Saratoga Pediatric Sub-Acute's Reviews
I would NEVER recommend this facility. My son was born with a genetic condition (Pontocerebellar Hypoplasia) that needed 24-hour care. My son had a trac and g-tube. He also had muscle tension that made his body really tense. That made him fragile. He was also slightly deaf and blind. My son was in this facility up to his last breath at the age of 4 years and 10 months. His birthday is April 20th. He almost made it to his 5th birthday. My son passed away in the hands of one of the nurses. The nurse told me they were short staff and was told she can clean him up herself. She quit after the paramedic's came and picked my son up. This is a bad facility. They like to sweep things under the rug. They don't take accountability for anything. They are not clean, they don't care about the patients, they try and do family meetings to go over your child's care but ignore you as the parent on the needs of your child. A parent knows their child best. They have a patient advocate that DONT help with anything. The time my son was there he endured so much pain then he should have. My son had rashes on his cheeks from dirty wash cloths they used. So, i brought him his own and i would wash all his clothes myself as well. I would go visit my son every day after work or on my days off and stay there most of the time. My son's skin couldn't handle the harsh chemicals in the soaps the facility used. I'm pretty sure my son wasn't the only child that would get those rashes from them washing their clothes. This is just one of the many issues. My son had E.coli in his trac . Can someone tell me what that is and how it got in my sons trac area? That is SOMEONE WITH SHITTY HANDS. NOT changing their gloves after someone else's change and washing their hands. Don't ask questions or you'll get them upset because they aren't used to parents being involved. or when you do ask questions watch their reactions. They won't know how to answer it. I have so much more....... TO BE CONTINUED ..............
Rude and disrespectful towards registry staff. Literally name calling and insults echoed down the hall with in earshot of CHILDREN. This was on NOC shift. One was a Resp Therapist by the name of Vincent and a PM LPN by name of Bri. At one point, another staff member had to tell them that was enough. Guess that's what they do when they have down time, pick on and bully other staff members :/
disgusting facility do not trust this place with you children, my little brother has had a tooth knocked out and even a black eye yet they have no incident report or investigation. not a trustworthy place at all !
Leaving this place was the best thing that ever happened to my daughter. Do not be fooled by the fake reviews from volunteers. This place cuts corners to save money and hires people no one else wants. Just call the front desk and ask about the horrid Covid outbreak they had a couple months ago and how they comically handheld it. There will always be an unfortunate need for this place but if you have a child with needs that has any other options I'd advise that route.
This place is amazing. The staff is amazing. They are on top of everything. They take the time to call and give updates on the child several times a day. I love this place and I'm sure my daughter loves it too. The whole staff cares about each and every patient. Keep it up staff. You guy are doing a wonderful job❤. I cant thank them enough for giving my daughter the best care possible. Thank you again.
These kids are loved and well taken care of. The devotion of the staff is evident!
This facility is now called Saratoga Pediatric Sub-Acute, but it is still the same, wonderful place it has always been. For children who need a higher level of care than can be provided at home, this place is a home-like environment where professional, caring staff provide for their needs. There is even a school on-site that provides special education services for this kids who live at the hospital. For children who need trach, ventilator, or other continuous medical care this place is awesome!
I love visiting these kid's they are my inspiration on behaving good

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
