Dr Smith has consistently been the warmest, most attentive and compassionate doctor I have come across - a true perfectionist to whom I entirely entrust my face, body and well-being She has kept me young and feeling beautiful inside and out year after year for nearly a decade and I can't trust anyone else nearly as much. Dr Smith is on top of her trade. She knows exactly what to do to attain her patient's' end goals and how to do them best all WITHOUT overreaching means and goals or undermining risks. She never rushes her care, always listens attentively, executes most carefully, and easily perfects the most ideal end results. I always leave feeling grateful and proud of what we've accomplished after every visit, feeling more beautiful, confident and absolutely happy! I always highly recommend Dr Smith especially to those closest to me. Thank you, Dr Smith, for taking very good care of me all these years and keeping me young, healthy, and happy!! Dr Smith and her staff are miracle workers. I live in the east bay and drive to Sausalito to see Dr Smith for all of my dermatological needs. Aside from her amazing bed side manner, she is a highly skilled board certified medical/cosmetic dermatologist. I have always struggled with dark circles under my eyes that make me look perpetually tired. Dr Smith is the only dermatologist who has been able assess and treat the problem without putting tons of filler in my tear troughs. Through a careful and thorough assessment she was able to determine that a small amount of filler in my hollow temples (vs my tear troughs) would solve the problem immediately, painlessly...and with no bruising. She is, and will always be, my hero:)

The best dermatologists ever -- smart, positive and expert: they make appointments fun. And contrary to some of the reviews, they seem to be getting their scheduling under control.

Love SMD! Been going there since it opened and have watched the practice grow. Going to their office feels like a vacation - so sleek and amazing views of the bay and all the sailboats. I see Dr Smith yearly for routine skin cancer check ups and now my husband sees her too. During shelter in place she was able to do a virtual appointment and prescribe a topical for my Rosacia that flared - a little too much stress and chocolate. She gave me wonderful advice on a couple of her products that would work well and I have been loving my skin all summer... too bad no one besides my family can see it Highly recommend the practice and Dr Smith!!!

I have been going to Dr. Smith for about 10 years. I am 72 and a dermatologists nightmare. I spend a lot of time in the sun with no sunscreen which I am lectured on every visit. There is no one I trust more than Ashley. Her entire staff is extremely professional. The bottom line... she is a fantastic doctor and that’s why I love her!

Dr. Smith and rest of the team at Southern Marin Dermatology are fantastic! Not only are they extremely knowledgeable but also very personable and caring. My kids are patients too and Dr. Smith always make them feel comfortable. I appreciate her thoroughness and professionalism. Every visit has been a great experience. Dr Smith at Southern Marin Dermatology is the most attentive, caring provider that one can ask for. She has treated my entire family from my children's elementary skin rash conditions, teenager's acne, husband's moles and has gracefully given my middle age skin some regular natural boosts to age gracefully. I really appreciate that there is never pressure to do more. She keenly listens to what bothers me and offers her best tasteful suggestions. Her office is beautiful, bright, and warm with peaceful views of the bay and provides ample parking.

Dr. Smith is fantastic. She is professional, through and extremely likable. The office is stylish and the views are unbeatable. The first time I went to see her, she caught a potentially harmful spot on my nose that my previous dermatologist missed just a few weeks prior. What a relief!Whether you are going to see her for medical or cosmetic needs you are in great hands. I am so thankful to have her as my dermatologist.
