I am new to Santa Cruz County Area and was very nervous to find a doctor. Dr. Bernardi was referred to me by a friend. The only thing I can say is he is hands down the most caring doctor I have every had in my entire life. He has not once time made me feel crazy, or as if I was annoying him. He took a very long time with me each and every time I have gone in. I am sure the extra time he gives his patients may cause him to go a bit behind schedule but if the roles were reversed I would just think that he is in another room giving someone else a little extra time because perhaps they really needed him that day.The thing I value most about Dr. Bernardi is he isn't quick to say "here take these pills" he respected my wishes to try to stay as organic as possible when we discussed my treatment plan. This is what I hold close and appreciate. He is just a good man, with a good heart and you can tell he truly loves his job and cares deeply for those that come to him. I couldn't be happier, nor could I feel safer.

My father moved into Santa Cruz County and needed a doctor, Dr. Bernardi was very Kind, patient, and informative. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Bernardi should attend his appointments on time or communicate that he will be significantly late. I made a 5:40pm appointment months ahead of time. Dr. Bernardi required me to call to confirm my appointment and show up 20 min early so I didn’t waste his time. When I arrived to my appointment on time, Dr. Bernardi wasn’t even ready to see me until nearly 6:00pm, at which point I left knowing that if I couldn’t trust him to keep and appointment or communicate that he will be significantly late, I couldnt trust him with my health. I would recommend seeing a doctor that values his patient’s time.

fabulous doctor: open-minded, open to alternative treatment while being solid in his understanding of Western medicine. He truly improved the quality of my life.

Dr. Bernardi has cared for both my parents. My Dad passed away last year at 96, and my Mom is now 97. I am tremendously impressed by how attentive he is, and how he really listens when his patients speak. Dr. Bernardi respected my Dad's wishes and made his last months so much better than they could have been.

Was very late to my appointment (to the point I left before he even came to my room initially) even though he made me call to confirm I would be there on time. Appears to not value his patients time but he tries to make sure you don’t waste his.

Dr. Bernardi was great! He was professional, friendly and made me feel very comfortable. He was also great with my two kids (5 & 7). I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a new Dr.
