I agree with the previous reviewer. I called to get a prescription authorization from the doctor and the front desk person could not take a simple message because the computer was down. I responded with "Don't you have a pen and paper." She abruptly put me on hold. Terrible service.

Horrible customer service! On January 10th made an appointment for my dad with Dr. Pita for the 23rd of January. I walked into the office this morning with my dad and receptionist says, “we tried to call you because Dr. Pita isn’t excepting new patients. The call center made a mistake” no ‘I’m sorry’ or we apologize for the inconvenience”, nothing: it clearly shows on the website that Dr. Pita is excepting new patients. This wouldn’t be such a big deal but I’m dealing with my 84-year-old father who I had to fight to get to go to this appointment. Dr. Pita may be a wonderful gerontologist, but the office staff sucks.

I have been a patient of Dr. Pita’s for 20 years. He is the most amazing doctor I have ever had. I also lost my son in January, and Dr. Pita went out of his way to call me at home to see how I was doing and spoke with me for a little while. He is a very classy and professional doctor who truly cares about his patients.

Dr. Pita and his staff are understanding, kind and helpful. They respond to requests and are helpful in getting back to you. Dr. Pita takes the time to understand what is going on in the lives of his patient and their families. I highly recommend Dr. Pita and his wonderful office staff.

I have been a patient over 10 yrs.Last week"I called for a non urgent appt. I,knew,it,would take a month or so,to get appt but when they told me I had to wait to oct rot,get on a waiting list.I need to think" about,that,!!!!! Do I,really think that is okay?

Dr. Pita has served as my personal physician for many years. His ability to diagnose the problem is top notch. His prescriptions and medical advice are conservative. The specialist to whom he has referred me are ALL EXCELLENT in every regard including surgeons (spine / cancer/colonoscopy guy and so forth), cardiac specialist, foot specialist and others). I am always in good hands with Dr. Pita calling the shots! I consider myself most fortunate to have him as my personal physician. I am age 70 but feel and live like a man 20 years younger.

I have gone to Dr Pita for years as do my kids and grandkids. We have never felt that we have been in better hands than Dr Pita's. He is very busy,but you can always leave a message and his nurse will get back to you. He is the very best doctor!!!!!!
