List of Alleviation Healthcare Services's Reviews
Zero stars if I could. Didn't follow up from the hospital, didn't return my calls, and the discharge nurse told me they weren't returning her calls either. I found another company under my insurance that's great.
i have to agree with the reviewer who thought the 5 star reviews were phony. the service was terrible, late, and not thorough; the original interviewer rude and uncaring. the nurse did only vital signs (not my problem) and kept pushing for more visits they billed for five time more visits than they performed.
They scammed me. After knee surgery they gave me ten minutes of PT. Afterword the had me sign a time sheet without the times listed sessions. When I asked they wanted me to sign a time sheet that was not completelll empty. They told they would fill in the form at the office. They lied about the minutes of PT I received. One PT asked if I had Parkinson's Disease. I was shocked. I reported the bad service to the office and they did not return my calls. Be ware. Zero rating.
Bad at scheduling or getting a call back. Also therapists don't show up or hardly show up on time. Write off hours without completing PT. When calling to complain they seem bothered. Don't recommend.
If im taking the time to write a review believe me I am doing it so patients and families dont have to go through what i experienced. Im hoping you do not take my comment/ experienced for granted. My mom has being sick for 2 and a half years, I was with alleviation for two months, the first month i never got wound supplies as a result, i needed to buy it from my pocket causing me a debt which up to date i havent paid off. The second month, there were some supplies sent home but the nurse never showed up. Accordingly, they did not pass by because there was no "reliable parking" so if you live in the 90011 área think about alleviation twice. They discriminate us for being poor and not having certain accomodations for them. In addition, unprofessionalism, racism and dismissiveness were not only from nurses but from all the staff as a whole. They always blame each other and never did their job at all. Last but not least, my mom went into the hospital. While she was there, they were so attentive but when she came out no one was available to come, as usual. They waited until last minute. The solution- called the pcp for home health change. Here we are by ourselves waiting for the insurance to approve home health for us. I will really thank everyone for such a job- specially Diane,Ana, etc etc.
This place lacks integrity, Communication and compassion for the customers, they lie and their service is like an Uber service at the expense of loved ones. Run don’t walk and make make sure they’re not billing your insurance company for services not rendered.
These guys don’t care whatsoever about your needs nor your health . The administration is horrible they lie through their teeth all day long to delay everything as they don’t know how to run a business!! Carl is a liar and so is the rest of the administration staff!! They keep blaming insurance and nurse delays for not reporting information or waiting on insurance coverage when all is already taken care. STAY FAR AWAY FRIM THEM. The nurses they send out are nice and knowledgeable but they are horrible at scheduling and staying on top of the clients needs.
I would like to preface this by saying that my grandmother suffered a stroke on January 16th of this year. At first, her condition was concerning but she's made a remarkable recovery since then, albeit with the presence of brain damage considering the severity of the stroke. We were referred to this company by the hospital, with guarantees of the right services for her -- whatever she would need. The company thought they could get away with only sending a nurse three times a week to give her a once-over, but not include anything she ACTUALLY needed, like speech therapy, giving her baths... We had to fight just to be able to get physical therapy hours. One of their staff on the phone actually had the nerve to ask "Why do you want any of that? Speech, physical?" You heard right: Alleviation admits patients without providing these essential services, which, for many elderly people who have suffered a stroke, are crucial in order to make a complete recovery. If you put any of your time and energy into this company, be prepared for No-Call, No-Show nurses, staff which loves playing the blame game on one another, and just an entire company that does not care about their patients or the elderly in general at all. Alleviation needs to be reported. Please, do yourselves all a favor and find a different resource for yourselves and your loved ones.

i had complete ruptured quad tendon repair on the 15 th. the physical therapist still has not called or shown up. the ooccupational therapist showed up 11 days after surgery but he couldn't teach me how to do stairs and i had already figured everything else out by then. they blame cedars, cedars blames them and i'm sitting here not knowing what exercises i'm supposed to do or how to get out of my house in an emergency. shame on everyone involved.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
