What an absolute joke of a doctors office. This horribly run and unethical office saw my son in the hospital right after he was born. Before seeing him, they told us they couldn't accept our insurance. So we told them thanks but no thanks, we'll have someone else come see him. The doctor leaves and comes back saying they got it figured out and they actually could see him. An hour later, the doctors office calls and tells us we owe a large bill for this "covered" regular doctors visit. After numerous phone calls back and forth the office tells us to disregard any bills sent to our house. So we do. Even though we kept getting bills and kept calling them back asking why we were getting bills.Even further down the line, a collection agency is now contacting us saying the doctors office submitted the bill to our insurance twice and they refused to pay it. The insurance company has no record of the claim. The doctors office claims to not have all of our patient information they transferred over to a new system and can't answer some of our questions. But all of a sudden has alll the notes related to phone calls that benefit them and their statements. However, They don't have any record of calls with them telling us to disregard the bills. If I recall correctly, the office needs to retain patient records for 7 years and we're way under that. They claim to have emailed us( no record) and have notes ( no record). There are plenty of other offices out there that do a far better job than this one who committed insurance fraud and theft. Legal counsel has been contacted.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE. They are all so so great and caring. I will always bring my kids here no matter where I move. They are seriously the best.
We absolutely love Dr. McFarren and have always had a good experience with pediatric associates. Sadly, with the recent decision to impose a yearly fee on all patients, we will be forced to move on. If your family routinely asks for camp forms, referrals, phone consults about labs, or additional paperwork, then you might not mind a flat fee instead of a request to pay for each of these services. My family doesn't typically fall into this category and I would have preferred to pay for these things if needed. I understand that we are all bearing the burden of inflation and this practice is trying to figure out a way to balance their patients needs and cover costs. However, the other doctors and dentists that our family sees have not made these decisions. Health care is already incredibly expensive in this country before adding in a "membership fee" and I am not willing to go down that road despite really liking our pediatric care.
PAMG does provide 5 star service there is no doubt of that. The care provider here is top notch. However they have made a recent change as of Oct 2022 taking effect in January 2022 that new and existing patients should be made aware of for a yearly administrative "membership" fee. The cost of business is absolutely going up. I see that in my own practice that also is dealing with increased administrative costs. However the below is a blanket statement with no alternate options for a creative solutions. As a patient there are other ways our family would have liked this presented to use instead for one month notice. It is causing us to reevaluate our pediatric care needs and we may look elsewhere for our children as a result. Notice from PAMG: Dear Families, At Pediatric Associates Medical Group, we are committed to providing the best possible care to your family. We want to continue to provide the highest quality medical care that is based on our families' needs. Therefore, starting January of 2022 we are implementing an annual administrate fee for services that are not covered by insurance companies. Rather than charge for each individual service, we have created a comprehensive plan that will be more cost effective for our families and allow us to continue to provide comprehensive and exceptional care. This fee will allow our staff and doctors to continue to provide consistent, efficient, and timely attention to all families as well as combine all our previous additional charges into one yearly fee. All patients that are up to date with the annual administrative fee will qualify for all our services without any additional charges. The policy and payment agreement is attached. Payment is due at the start of each calendar year and will be renewed yearly on the anniversary month of the payment. If not paid in advance, this mandatory policy and payment authorization must be signed prior to any services rendered, on your next visit to our office, or upon joining the practice. Attached is our administrative fee policy. Once reviewed, please return the payment authorization to us. We take pride in the quality of care we provide to all our families and want to continue to do so in the face of ongoing reductions in payments and increases in administrative fees and regulations. As always, we thank you for allowing us the privilege of caring for your children and family. Thank you, The Doctors and Staff at PAMG
Dr. McFarren is wonderful. We took our daughter in for her check up and my wife and I both enjoyed talking to Dr. McFarren. Overall, we like that there is a small parking lot and their offices are nice. I would definitely go back.
We took our then 4-year-old daughter here once, some 14 months ago, August 2019. As we we were new in the area, we reached out asking 1) if they accept new clients, and 2) if they accept our insurance. After several emails and phone calls and more emails submitting all documents requested, including pictures of our insurance card, we finally said that we wanted to schedule a health check IF they accepted our insurance. We received a written answer that they were just double checking with the insurance company, and would call to confirm. Which they did, and our daughter had her standard 4 year's health check.Almost 2 years later, May 2021, they called us back for the first time since the appointment, claiming that there was an unpaid balance of $272 for the visit. They also claimed that they had sent invoices (which they never did), and that they'd try to call, but my phone was disconnected (which it has never been). They also promised to email the invoice for me to see. This was never done. I sent an email to follow up, but heard nothing. Two months later, they called again, claiming the same thing. I then emailed the whole thread from August 2019, and was promised that a supervisor would get back to me. This never happened. Instead I got a new call 3 weeks later, threatening with collecting, for a visit that these people had confirmed was covered, 2 years ago...AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
The office manager "Ji" is mentally unstable and unprofessional. She called me (harassing me) two hours before my daughters appointment and then cancelled the appointment. She is still angry for me asking to speak to a doctor months ago (for her last bad/unprofessional behavior). She was worried I was going to tell the doctors so she canceled my appointment lol. She has refused to let me speak to a doctor or message a doctor. This is truly mental illness. I've never been to an office with an office manager who was so professional and would not let a patient speak to a doctor out of fear they would get fired for their crazy behavior. I really hope the doctors read this message and reach out to patients who are leaving this practice due to the crazy office manager. This personality type should not be working around children or in a professional environment. The doctors are great, but the office manager is why I'm leaving. Hopefully they can find a new office manager so parents will feel safe enough going here again. Absolutely insane. Still in shock.
Worst pediatricians office I've ever been to. Anna the front desk girl is incredibly unprofessional and rude. I called when they opened in the morning and they wouldn't even let my daughter come in briefly to get anabiotic's for an ear infection. They told me in so many words to suck it up and give her Tylenol and come in the late afternoon. Mind you this is after I told them she has been crying all night with a 103° fever tugging on her ears. They kept saying she could have Covid, she could have Covid, even when I explained the symptoms were clearly an ear infection. I understand the fear of Covid, but they should have at least enough common sense to see the difference between a baby tugging on her ears with a fever and Covid. They also refused to do a virtual call so I could at least get antibiotics for my daughter to ease the pain. They just don't care about kids. That's the real issue here. I will be finding a new pediatricians office ASAP.
Had taken my children here many times, but because I committed the unholy sin of taking them to another dr in the past year, they refused to see my son for an emergency. They don't follow up, they don't keep good records....Do yourself s favor and find a place that puts compassion and your children's health first.
Dr. Abramyan is an amazing diagnostician. He's very conservative with meds and will only prescribe if totally necessary. Have been going her for a decade and been very pleased. Friendly, patient staff. Great lab workers. Always helpful.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
