I have never been so angry at a doctor before. Dr. Koopersmith stopped taking insurance. I was a patient for 20 years. While this is certainly her right, i don't feel a 22 page newsletter about her divorce and personal journey is the place for patient notification of this. It was on page 9! I didn't read that far, as I wasn't interested in her personal issues. And then I was not advised at my appt until after the exam!!! And then I get billed for $295! This is so unprofessional.

This doctor LIED TO AND GASLIT MY WIFE. Told her her pain was normal and that both her ovaries felt healthy during her exams. Guess what? Surgery just revealed my wife was born without one ovary and fallopian tube. And her new doctors confirmed her excessive menstrual pain is NOT NORMAL and requires medicine and PT. Dr Koop is negligent.

Dr. Koop has been wonderful. Truly grateful that I went to see her for ivf. She found that I had immunity issues and treated me for that as well, I wouldn't have known I had these issues if not for her. She's also willing to work with you holistically, would highly recommend Dr.Koop to anyone that's on ivf journey.

Dr. Koopersmith is a wonderful doctor with a gift for combining clinical expertise and emotional support. I worked with her for about 8 months when my husband and I were struggling to get pregnant with our third child. I've never had a doctor ask me about my childhood, and even my parents' childhood. It's clear she's recognizes that the pain and sickness we carry in our bodies isn't just a result of genetics or diet. It's also a result of generational trauma. I still reflect on our deep and heartfelt discussions and believe that these discussions positively impacted my mental health and ultimately my fertility. I also appreciate that Dr. Koopersmith never pressured me to get on fertility drugs. Of course, it's an important step for some. However, she knew I had a history of conceiving health children. I was just older. She advised me to clean up my diet (no diary, no soy, no gluten), work on my mental health, and just keep trying to conceive. It worked. We had a beautiful baby boy on October, and I had have Dr. Koopersmith to thank for it.

I was extremely disappointed with Dr. Koopersmith. She makes mistakes, in part because she doesn't check your file before prescribing medication, as was the case with me, and she is forgetful. She is also not dependable which is so important with a fertility doctor because precise timing is critical in this process .She is also difficult to communicate with and doesn't respond when she says she will. She seems scattered, like she is juggling too many things at once...dangerous. I She is very smart, but I would not recommend her.

[Dr. Tina Koopersmith] was very personal and really got to know me and my history I could message her at any time...saw me for ivf my spontaneous pregnancies and was amazing...open to trying new things. She'd really shows up for her patients...She is busy but is always available via message...She wanted me to succeed and helped me so much. Very worthwhile to see Dr. Koopersmith. Because of my history of recurrent miscarriages she always gets me in asap which really helps my pregnancy anxiety. She is also really good at ultrasounds and I trust her judgement completely. She has helped me build the family I always dreamed and whished for. She was always there for me and open to trying new things. She'd really shows up for her patients. She saw me through ivf and through my spontaneous pregnancies. She wanted me to succeed and achieve my goals and helped me achieve them. She is busy but is always available via message. She was very personal and really got to know me and my history I could message her at any time. She also saw me for my spontaneous pregnancies and was amazing. Nursing staff is nice. Individualized care you always see the dr. Busy sometimes a bit of a wait. The dr does the ultrasounds herself. Willing to think outside the box. Always available. Small. You have to pay for parking Willing to try new things. Treats the whole patient not just the fertility. Willing to work on package deal

I should have written this review when this incident happened, but I wasn't well versed enough at Yelp at the time. I was referred to Dr. Koopersmith by an OB who I was seeing in the Beverly Hills area. I didn't want to travel over the hill for my annual visits and wanted to go somewhere in the valley. Upon meeting Dr. Koopersmith, I was a bit unnerved by her brisk and curt bedside manner. That said, it's an annual exam and I'm not there for social hour. After my exam, she asked if I was married. I said I was, and then she asked if my husband and I planned on having children. I said that we were unsure and that we were in the process of freezing embryos just to be safe. Dr. Koopersmith literally began shouting at me in the office. She said, and this is a direct quote "why did you bother getting married if you don't plan on having children? You get married to have children!" I ran out of the office in hysterics, called my husband from the parking lot hyperventilating and later filed a complaint with the Medical Board (who did nothing). It was the most vile experience I have had to date with a physician. Needless to say, I never went back and tried to put the incident out of my mind. Imagine my horror when a few days ago I receive an email from my fertility clinic welcoming Dr. Koopersmith. Upon reading her bio, I was nauseated at how she claims to be trained in.... HEART MATH!? A woman who tells patients that marriage is for having children? Someone would actually utilize her so called skills in sexual and erotic blueprint coaching? HUH?? This woman is a horribly callous, judgmental and inappropriate sycophant who delights in making people feel as though living their lives on their terms isn't natural if she disagrees.

Cannot say how grateful I am for this physician. There are no words. If all physicians were like her, we would all agree they are all underpaid and underappreciated. She went above and beyond.

I ended up speaking with Dr. Koopersmith and voicing my disappointment. I don't think she remembers telling me what she did, but ultimately, she believed me and will honor her word. Unfortunately, she doesn't deliver anymore, but I can at least get my first ultrasound with a doctor I know while I figure out my insurance.

This place is super disorganized, the staff and billing dept are on another planet. I have received bills from them I already paid (had to submit my bank statements to them as proof since they had no way of tracking). I have been in conversations with them for over a year as they put a wrong diagnosis code on a bill, they told me they changed it and when I reached out to Quest they said not on person has ever reached out to them. My entire experience here has felt like a money hungry scam.
