I've been working for Home Instead Senior Care for over 8 years now and honestly, I can say that this is the best Agency I've ever worked for! Jim and Cherisse are the best boss and supervisor ever, they have always made me feel like I'm part of a family, with such caring and compassionate spirits, they help to place the right care giver with each client according to the client's needs! I'm very proud to be a part of the Home Instead team of Sherman Oaks! 🫶🏽✨️

I had a interview here once and after my interview they told me to get my finger prints and I would be called for the job and they never did. Please don't do finger prints unless they send you a confirmation of a job offer letter! Wasted my time and money.

We have been working with Home Instead for over a decade and their service is impeccable. Our caregiver Jodi cares for my elderly mother and brain injured brother, and she is priceless. Besides the fact that she truly cares for both of them, and understands their needs and wants, and everything connected to them including what medications they take and when, but she pays close attention to detail, follows up with doctors, pharmacists, etc., sets up appts., deals with maintenance people who come to the house, helps around the house, takes them to appts and errands, and basically addresses all their needs while she is with them. Jodi is warm, caring, patient and kind, intelligent, capable, selfless, and organized. She is priceless in our lives and the lives of my mom and brother. Besides Jodi, Jim and Cherisse and Vanessa, and all the others who work in the office, are also warm and caring people, and they are quick to answer the phones, to respond to any question, and are a very professional, capable, respectful and organized company. We feel that my family members are being taken care of amazingly well, and we know we can count on all of them to ensure my mother and brother get the best care possible. We couldn’t have done it without them, and they all have given us tremendous peace of mind. Thank you for all your hard work and all you do.

My mom was starting to show signs of dementia in her 90's. She was a fiercely independent, strong willed woman, used to getting her way and I was at a loss as to how to provide appropriate care for her. A friend blessedly gave me the information for Home Instead. It started out as one day a week of having someone there to help her out with the stuff she didn't want to do. It ended with around the clock care. From barely tolerating her "help", it grew to strong relationships with a great team of caregivers. Every step of the way Home Instead helped me care for my Mom. She passed a couple of weeks ago, but I have made life long connections with those that cared for my beloved Mom. Caroline, her first caregiver, was there from beginning to end and has grown to be like family. I couldn't have done this without her. Sarah was a Godsend as well. Roxana rounded out my daytime team of lifesavers. One of her past caregivers Jennifer needs to be named too. She meant a lot to my Mom while she was with her. The office staff is great as well.Cherisse, especially, is a one of a kind, amazing human being... Jim Trisch, the head of the office was my starting point with Home Instead, and gave me the confidence to bring his staff on board. I am forever grateful. If you need help with a loved one, i would 1,000% recommend Home Instead.

Marie, my mom’s caregiver, is amazing! Not only does she care for my mom she has become apart of our family. Marie is genuine and caring, and my mom is so happy. I would recommend Home Instead to any family looking for a caregiver.

So very pleased with Home Instead. Jim, Cherise and Vanessa have all been wonderful and extremely helpful to find us the right person. Ana, our caretaker, has been amazing with my 95 year old father. She has also helped me a great deal so I can take care of other things. What a blessing the Home Instead people have been to us! A++ and highly recommended.

Home Instead responds quickly and always tries earnestly to accommodate my wife’s needs as a visually impaired person. This helps her enjoy a life as normal as possible while living with a disability. Maria, her caregiver, possesses the finest qualities in a person offering help and care to someone needing support; her kindness is primary in all she does. She is bright, organized, very hardworking and brings great energy to her work. Her work ethic is exceptional. Additionally, her sense of humor makes time with her upbeat and fun. We feel very fortunate and grateful to have found her.

I have always received the finest home care referrals, but I especially want to compliment AALIYAH, who comes to me three nights a week. She is the embodiment of the best in a Caregiver: always giving me the kindest, most efficient (amazing what she can do in a short time!) and attentive help in all the ways a woman with pain and mobility problems need most! Aaliyah is all that, plus she has a warm sense of humor, which helps as much as all the rest! Please recognize her for what she is: a Caregiver Star. Wouldn't know what to do without her intelligent help, companionship and friendship.

We hired Home Instead for my father and we could not be more pleased with their services. Mark and his staff are incredibly organized, caring and reliable. We worked with Mauricio as our main care giver for six days a week and he was amazing. Mauricio was kind and reliable with a sense of humor. He became like member of the family. He was able to help my father with his daily exercises and without his help my father would not have been able to stay in his home until shortly after his 91st birthday. We called around to several other agencies and found Home Instead to be clearly the best one around. Save yourself the time...just go straight to Home Instead.
