The initial evaluation and consultation with Dr. Root for my lower back pain far exceeded all of my expectations. Dr Root took the time to explain in terms I could understand why I have pain and reduced strength in my legs. He even used a model of a spine and nerves to show me what was causing the pain. That was a great help to visualize my situation. I didn’t feel rushed in asking my questions to make sure I understood why I have shooting pain in my legs. It is by far the best initial consultation I’ve ever had in my 72 years on this earth. THANK YOU, Dr Root. You’re the best!

Care is superb and outstanding, staff is lovely and very helpful and patient with all your questions and concerns. Dr. Root is One of the best I have ever visited, came up with a great treatment plan for all my problems and answered all questions and explained all procedures with utmost details and care.

Dr. Matthew Root saw me on the October 21st, 2025 to develop a plan to address an 11 year old back injury that had worsened over the last 3 weeks. Dr. Root was compassionate in all his questioning, and attentive when I responded. He gave me solid advice on how and when to incorporate physical therapy, discussed the appropriate medication for my complicated situation and what safety issues to be aware of. He evaluated the strength in my limbs to assess the extent of ongoing damage caused by the old injury. He was quite patient with all the questions I asked him. We ended by making plans to secure my latest test documents and setting up my follow up appointment. His staff was helpful, accommodating and professional in all of our interactions. I trust his expertise, knowledge and depth of understanding. He is committed to an action plan which is in my best interest and most conducive towards complete healing.I truly appreciate this opportunity to work with Dr. Root and his office team.
