GREAT DOCTOR
I am a medical doctor and a patient of doctor Sabbaghi. after a car accident I had continued cervical neck pain for one and a 1/2 years with little sleep to perform my medical duties. The treatment up to that during that time my pain was not responding to another pain clinics treatment . As soon as doctor Sabbaghi started treating me I started to improve and returned to a 100% pain free with normal range of motion and full night sleep without any need for pain medications. I want to Dr. Ali Sabbaghi about five years ago having a major pain in my neck dr. Ali put me through treatment it works perfect I was able to avoid doing a surgery it’s been over five years and never have to deal with this issue again
I became Dr. Sabbaghi’s patient in January 2017 due to arthritis in one hip. I received periodic epidurals and pain medication. I was well treated until 2018. By then I had also developed knee pain and sciatica. Throughout the year I had epidurals for the sciatica yet it continued to worsen. As the year progressed, I presented with increasing pain and complaints, the primary of which was drastically decreased ability to function. By the latter part of the year, I was primarily bed-ridden and had to sell my house and move with limited funds as I’d become so restricted by my hip, knee, and sciatica. It was very painful to simply walk. Particularly with pain management, I think physicians must seriously address issues of functioning and quality of life. My experience with Dr. Sabbaghi is that he had a deaf ear to how grim my condition was. With new DEA restrictions in place, I believe that he basically stopped practicing clinical medicine and showed no concern for my suffering. He was more focused on checking the DEA guidelines than on problem-solving my pain issues and physical decline. I was receiving no help. On my own, I consulted an orthopaedic surgeon about a hip replacement. The X-ray was a shock to see. Even the surgeon was shocked that, under the care of a pain physician, is been allowed to drive and that the severity of damage to my hip was unknown and under medicated. He thought I should have been referred for a hip replacement about a year earlier. When I told Dr. Sabbaghi that I was scheduled for a hip replacement, he physically startled; to me an admission that he’d neglected to monitor my hip which was the source of the knee pain and the sciatica which had developed over the course of my treatment. I had a successful hip replacement 5 weeks ago. The sciatica is gone. The knee pain can be addressed in physical therapy. I do not need pain management. Via Dr. Sabbaghi, I became very educated about the DEA restrictions because that’s all he talked about. Since my surgery, I have thought of how, working within them, he could have adequately prescribed medication. It’s clear that he’d forgotten to stay updated on my worsening hip in spite of the development of secondary problems and my decline. I believe that had I stayed in his care, he’d have continued to give me epidural after epidural and under treat increased pain. I received the least pain medication when I was in the worst pain. I am extremely disappointed in Dr. Sabbaghi. He neither heard or seemed to care about my suffering and terrible quality of life. He was more focused on DEA requirements, and he did not develop a plan that both met them and adequately treated my pain. Had he referred me for a hip replacement when I developed the secondary issues, I would have had a life in 2018-19.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
