Dr. Sobeck did my knee surgery. I was very nervous about the whole situation but he always took time to answer all my questions and help me be at ease. He is very knowledgeable and an ace in his craft.
Dr Sisto is caring, knowledgeable, and straightforward about the best options for patients.
Dr.Domenick Sisto is a kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable orthopedic surgeon. I was previously under his care 23-years ago. His expertise significantly aided in my recovery. I’ve returned 23-years later for a different injury because I have confidence in his medical decisions and care plan. I feel very fortunate to select him again as my orthopedic provider. His staff are efficient, polite, respectful, organized and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Sisto if you need an orthopedic specialist.
Good experience.
I want to thank Dr. Sobeck again his staff as well. He did an amazing job on my left shoulder with orthostrophic surgery. Thank you again doctor
Pleasant courteous. The visit was awesome and the doctor was encouraging, endearing and attentive.
Let me say first off that Dr. Nazemi is friendly & knowledgeable. His nursing staff and nurse practitioner are all AMAZING and make you feel welcome. I can't say the same about the staff in the front office thought that handle checking you in or answering the phones. From day one, that part of his staff has made me feel like a burden or annoyance to them. My initial consultation appointment was set for 8:00am and they asked me to show up 15 mins early, so I got there at 7:40am just to be safe. The doors were locked and the lights were off, so I waited in the lobby. I came back up at 7:50am and the doors were locked. I knocked and no one answered. I thought maybe I mixed up my appointment time possibly so I went to their website and it says the Sherman Oaks office opens at 9:00am. (WTF?!) I then call their office and the recording said they opened at 9:00am as well. I figured maybe I really did mix up my time, so knocked on the door some more with no luck. I then just went back home and returned at 8:45am thinking my appointment really was at 9:00am. When I got there, the office was opened and FILLED with people. The staff member said I missed my 8:00am appointment time and had to reschedule for a week later. I explained what all happened and showed her that their website says they open at 9:00am and even played the recording from their office saying 9:00am as well. I asked if they could squeeze me in because I took time off from work for this and was told no, I had to come back next week. I was upset since their website & phone recording has the wrong opening time... but oh well, chalk this one up to me I guess. (FYI... their website and phone recording STILL says they open at 9:00am) Anyway... had my consultation with Dr. Nazemi, went to get my MRI and xRay and then came back for my results and to get a diagnosis. The journey gets REALLY frustrating from there. 1) Dr. Nazemi himself told me that I needed physical therapy on that last visit, but that I needed to wait a few days for my insurance to sign off on it, then I would check with them to confirm and finally call his office back to get the physical therapy prescription. I did that and my insurance said no one submitted anything from them and that my insurance is a PPO, so all the doctor had to do was to hand me a prescription for physical therapy, which I then would give to any in-network physical therapy facility to start my healing process. I called his office back and explained this all to them and his staff told me that he would never tell me that and I was confused. (I know what he told me thank you.) After a lot of back and fourth, the staff member said that she would process my physical therapy request right away and send me the prescription and call me back within 24 hours (They never did) 2) I called a few days later only to be met with skepticism of what was going on and I was told that I had to wait for my insurance to sign off on my physical therapy, then call them back and they'll give me the prescription. (As of today, my insurance still hasn't received anything.) I was told they would look into it and call me back within 24 hours. (They never did) 3) I called a few days later and was told that their staff handed me papers showing me what exercises to do at home. (No they didn't) I explained the entire situation again and said they would look into it and call me back within 24 hours. (They never did) 4) I called a few days latter and was told that Dr. Nazemi never said I needed physical therapy and there are no notes from him in my file indicating I need it. They again said they would look into it and get back to me. (They never did) 5) I decided to stop by in person this time and was told that they do see SOME notes in my file stating some sort of physical therapy was needed and then asked me why *I* hadn't I set that up yet. (WTF?!?!?) I explained the situation yet again and was told they would talk to the doctor and get back to me. (They never did) 6) I called yet again was the person apologized for me not being given the physical therapy prescription and that they will send it to me via e-mail by end of the day (That never happened) 7) I stopped by the office again and was told that there were no notes indicating I need physical therapy and they would have to talk to the doctor to confirm (Are you kidding me?!?!?) and they would get back to me. (They never did) Almost a month later no with still nothing from them. I'm DONE with Dr. Nazemi's office. I've never experienced such poor "aftercare" and such constant misinformation given to me each time I interacted with his staff. I am taking my MRI results to another specialist and will start my recovery journey over from there.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
