List of Mend Urgent Care's Reviews
After I couldn't find an emergency PCR test I got quick emergency care from this wonderful team of workers at MEND in Sherman oaks,Sat at 6pm. Thank all of you!!!!
After 3 hours of waiting in an otherwise empty facility, I finally get to see a "doctor?" Not a real doctor, maybe just someone playing a doctor in this scene. This place is a scam! They have a big sign that says, "WE DO NOT VALIDATE PARKING" They need a bigger sign that says, "WE DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU." Nobody at this place cares about you. One thing Mend Corp. is good at is not caring about you. They do it on the phone, in person, and now even via text message! You are just a number here. Your insurance company is what feeds Mend Corp. You are just a means to get paid. So shut up, fill out these forms, wait for 3 hours, roll up your sleeves, pull down your pants, and bend over for some expensive, probably unnecessary, but 100% reimbursable testing! The other thing Mend Corp is good at... getting the money! They'll treat you like garbage! Then they're gonna sell all your data, ream your insurance company, get the maximum co-pay, and I guarantee they get a cut of those parking fees!
Worst experience ever rude staff and and inhuman I went in so much pain and they are on their phone and no one is seeing me
Went to this place with my sick wife and they asked us to wait so the dr can take lunch while my wife is crying out of pain they are the worst especially the receptionist who show no mercy or kindness WORST URGENT CAR WITH THE WORST TYPE OF HUMAN BEINGS
Wow, after the horror show that was Exer Urgent Care in Tarzana, I was relieved to find this location. I have insurance, I see a lot of issues are with pricing - my practitioner offered me options and even with insurance I asked for extra cost details. Medical care is for profit here unfortunately and as patients we have to advocate for ourselves. The care was thorough and compassionate. I'm a younger, recent cancer survivor, so medical centers can cause extra stress. The staff, location and my PA were incredible. Grateful to have a back up center when I can't make it to my primary physician
This place is terrible they don't call you back For results and they don't know how to give care instructions.. the PA there just flirts with patients instead of asking important questions about the patients health. Thanks for nothing her name was davidian and she wasn't even a Dr.. I can't even remember her name but she was useless I can't believe they let people work here and let alone treat people. We still to this day have gotten no call Backs for results in the ultrasound and are still dealing with stomach pain. Thanks for nothing
DON'T EVER GO TO ANY OF THE MEND URGENT CARES. YOU COULD PROBABLY GET BETTER SERVICE AND HELP AT A CONVENIENT STORE IN SIBERIA.
I WENT TO MEND, GREAT NURSE PRACTITIONER! she was an amazing care giver and Dr.! The staff is great and the waiting the there has NEVER been unreasonable!!! I had one recently first toI went to Excer and it was Horrible 3 hour wait and dr. acted like I was bothering her. Mend is great!
I would give this place zero stars if it was an option. I just had the worst experience. The place doesn't even have proper signage stating that they are an urgent care or an accessible entrance into the building. I called because I was in the parking structure but couldn't find the place because it's an all brick building without signage and the address numbers are written in black.. not very inviting at all. The front desk woman answers and is RUDE!! I told her I was having trouble finding the urgent care and told her I was in the parking structure she says "we are on the first floor across from the hospital" and hangs up. I park. Had to walk circles around the building to finally find the entrance and then locate the suite number. I was already turned off by this place. I enter the urgent care and I wasn't even greeted with a "hello." Instead the front desk lady says "put your mask on." I told her that I don't have a mask. So she gives me one and asks why I'm here. I told her for a nursing school physical. She takes my paperwork and says automatically, "it's going to be $100 for a physical." I told her "Okay, that's fine." And then she looks at my paperwork some more and says "We don't do blood work. We are just gonna do your physical and an eye exam." I said "Okay, but this is an urgent care? You don't do any blood work?" She said no. She was extremely rude. Not friendly at all. She never once doubled checked with the nurses or other colleagues to make sure the information she was telling me was correct. She had dark hair with blonde highlights and fake eyelash extensions. She was mean. Don't go there please. After being turned away for care, I had to pay for parking!!! I wasn't even seen as a patient and I had to pay for parking. I have also been reading the reviews below and everyone on here complains about the rude front desk who has attitude! Why doesn't this company do something about it then??!
Note: PA on site was great. Very nice woman Everything else is scammy and blows hard. I came in for a minor issue. (Dropped a dumbbell on my finger. Not that bad) they love to bill insurance. They charged for ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING. Front desk staff has HUGE attitude. Go to another place. Mend sucks big time.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
