Dr. Emslie is knowledgeable and has great bedside manner. She is great and takes her time during appointment to explains things thoroughly in a simple terms and is not afraid to be firm when one is not taking care of one self.

Dr. Emslie can be harsh at times. Even when you explain what you're going through and your beliefs on certain things. In other words she is always correct and we as the patient are always incorrect. I find a problem with that. There needs to be some compassion and understanding with her patients, when needed.

Dr. Emslie is wonderful. She is my doctor as well as my mom's. We followed her to her new office in Sierra Madre. Dr. Emslie is a good listener and will give you the time needed to assess you as a whole person and patient. I would recommend her highly to anyone looking for a doctor with an excellent bedside manner. She makes the office visit experience so efficient. She sends your prescriptions straight to the pharmacy via her laptop and is a hi tech doc in my opinion.
