Very easy person to deal with and I was referred to this place by my primary doctor,The office is nice and Dr. Fard is nice but office staff is unfriendly and at first I brushed it off but last week had a very uncomfortable situation with staff member names Jessica- very rude, corrected me on my appt time and how late I was and needless to say I left the office very uncomfortable and not wanting to ever go back there again, Called several times to speak to Dr. Fard to personally give him this feedback but never heard from him- maybe messages weren’t given.Mind you I’ve been there only couple of times and needless to say I’m not going back and asked my doctor to refer me to a different t cardiologist.Feedback is don’t treat patients rudely or belittle them - customer training is just as important as a good doctor.

If you are looking for a convenient and comfortable place to have important medical needs taken care of Dr. Fard and his staff are friendly and professional from start to finish. Check in was safe but comfortable and the incredibly friendly and efficient Lorena made my paperwork and pre visit work up ( weight, blood pressure, ect) go by easy-breezy. Thank you to the to the entire staff for a very comfortable visit. 5 stars

My gratitude to Dr. Fard and his staff, Allison and Lorena runs deep. In brief, Dr. Fard adjusted my 82 year-old Mom's blood pressure medication and saved her life. She now has a new lease on life! She is breathing better & feeling more energetic than she has in years. In a matter of a couple of weeks, she's back to the exercise routine she used to do 2 years ago. This after terrifying BP highs and lows which left her panting for air after a shuffle to the bathroom.Although we also got a worrisome diagnosis of moderate/severe aortic stenosis which will likely require surgical intervention in the future, the diagnosis was communicated by Dr. Fard in a clear and compassionate manner. He answered our questions patiently. He made us feel confident about navigating her future with this diagnosis. Additionally, the staff was responsive, professional and communicated with my Mom's GP very well. They also take COVID precautions very seriously and the office was very clean.

Dr. Fard is very personable and explains the issues well.  After my initial visit I felt good about my choice in a cardiologist .  Unfortunatley his staff has made my cardiac experience difficult at best.  Surly and curt are two words that I would use to describe several of my conversations with staff.  Paper work not filed, commitments not fulfilled.  If stress is a contributing factor to cardiac issues, this is not the place to mitigate it.  Disappointing at best when going through a challenging time.

I will start by saying that I never made it into the office to see the doctor, so this review is not for him personally.  It is however for his staff.  Let's discuss why I never made it in to the office.  I was referred by Urgent Care who made my appointment.  I received a voicemail from the doctor's office letting me know I needed to be there a half hour early.  This sounds perfectly reasonable to me, however the end of the message, the woman got very firm and stated if I "was one minute late I would NOT be seen."  Ok Ok, fine I get it.  Fast forward to the Friday before my Monday appointment.  I received two voicemails from the office thirty minutes apart.  I couldn't answer, since I was at work.  At lunch when I checked the voicemails one message asked me to call them back.  They had a cancellation at 1:30 and it was imperative that I change my 4:30 appointment to 1:30.  The second message (again 30 mintues later and I was WORKING) was extremely aggressive stating this is the second time she is calling me and that it is imperative I change my apppointment to the earlier one since someone cancelled.  She stated they "just cannot have that big of a gap in their day."  Ummm... not my fault, man.  I can't get there sooner.  I called back and explained this.  They were not happy.  And now it is Monday... as I am getting ready to leave work to go to my appointment I get a phone call and they tell me all of their equipment is down and they can't take me.  ALL of it?  Seriously??  Maybe something really is down, but honestly, now I feel like I am being messed with. I have NEVER in my life dealt with such rude people.  Abslutely unacceptable.  Well, I hope they are having a nice happy hour since they cleary had other things to do than take a patient who had made an appointment.  Cheers!

I was referred to Dr. Fard by my previous cardiologist.  I stopped by the office for a quick question and was rudely greeted by one of the techs who advised me  "We are closed, we're at lunch, we will be back at 1:00." Well, ok then!  I'm thinking to myself, a more courteous professional response would be 'HELLO, I'm sorry, the office is currently closed' and/or maybe, ask 'could I answer a quick question? It might be something she could help with?'  No, I'm just greeted with rudeness and total disregard.  Great staff, Doctor!  If this is the behavior accepted by the doctor, he needs to have a 'come to Jesus' meeting for some training in common courtesy and how to address people.  It's not What is said, it's HOW it's said.

I only take the time to post when I have received exceptional or dismal service and exceptional care is what I receive from this medical office. I have had several visits and have been consistently impressed with each 1.  The doctor has yet to be late for a scheduled appointment time, which as a working woman I truly appreciate that level of respect. He listens to me, hears me, and speaks directly to me as if I'm an intelligent adult, also something that I appreciate.   As a recent survivor of a heart attack level of care is critical and I would not hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone looking for a cardiologist in the Simi Valley or 1000 oaks area.

First visit today, staff was helpful and friendly. Dr. Fard was friendly, explained everything and listened.  I have great hopes for the future
