List of Jerold Thomas Litoff's Reviews
Well it looks like Dr. Litoff doesn't have a fan base. I'm writing this review based on my experience with this Dr. It is a shame that there are Dr's out there that are only in the business for money and not helping people. I came to this Dr. for neck and back pain. Once I finally got to see the Dr., he said very few words and had no insight as to why I may be in pain. Sent me right off to take X-rays. The lady taking my X-rays was very pleasant and have nothing bad to say about her. Dr. Litoff looked at my X-rays and said there was nothing wrong. I had to ask him for physical therapy. He wrote me a prescription for 9 sessions. I started my physical therapy and it was exactly what I needed. I was building strength in the problem areas and getting great results. I called the Dr's office when I had 1 session left to pay my bill with them and asked if the Dr. could please send over some more sessions as I was getting much better. The receptionist said she would talk with the Dr. and get back to me in a few days. Almost 2 weeks go by and I get a call from the office stating that the Dr. "Needed to see me before giving more sessions". No explanation as to why since I clearly told them the physical therapy was helping. All they want is to receive another pay check from my hard earned money to tell me absolutely nothing. If Dr. Litoff really cared about his patients getting better, he wouldn't wait almost 2 weeks to get back to someone who said they needed more physical therapy and refuse to provide more sessions until I came in again. Now I'm losing all the progress I made with my physical therapist because he took almost 2 weeks to get back to me and won't let me continue what is actually helping me get better Until he gets another check from me. Very unprofessional and could care less about their patients getting better. Stay away from this place and spend your money elsewhere.
Very unprofessional office staff. When I arrived the Doctor was running late,I was told it would be at least an hour wait. They could not call to reschedule. They just expected you to wait.
Went yesterday after being referred by urgent care doctor. Didn't even get to speak to dr. Litoff because staff taking background notes was so rude! Asked her 2x to lower her voice and change her tone. Made me feel very unwelcome. Drove more than 30 miles to waste my time in pain to be pissed off. The lady kept speaking for the doctor saying that he'd more than likely send me home without treatment because it is a workers compensation issue even though I and urgent care dr said otherwise. Horrible experience. Haven't been so upset at dr office before! Do not recommend!
A little late and forgot to send me my last Report , other then that he is a good person, and I fill he knows his job as my daughter and I both have gone to me more then once for our problems Robert
This guy is the biggest quack I've ever come across.I truly believe they should take his licence away.
I went to see Dr. Litoff for a problem with one of my fingers. He diagnosed it immediately. Proceeded to get a cortisone shot and during the entire procedure he was explaining everything to me, also he kept asking me if I was alright. He was prompt and very caring.
We used to call him Dr. Ripoff. He was always pawning used cast, braces etc. During High School, Has sprained ankle during a sport season. and he erroneously kept the cast on way longer. I guess to get extra cast and office visit. at the time he was working with Dr. Brown, who was whom we though we were going to see and got assigned Litoff. On another occasion He removed liquid from my knee, And he is were the warning to all is. upon inserting the needle in my and removing the liquid, he reinserted and dug around in a prying motion "looking" for more. A few years later at UCLA, playing sports, my anterior cruciate ligament tore. Upon orthoscopic inspection from the medical staff there, it was determine 80% of the ligament had a "perfect" cut, the rest had torn. In fact the cut was so perfect as was ask to volunteer for MRI imgaging and to be used for training since it should up nicely. I eventually had it repaired. It took my a while to put the two together. Warning , and maybe now he has his 5 mortgages and country club membership, but watch this guy.
Through knowledge, ability to recognize, treat, and diagnose; I fully understand and appreciate the amount of time and dedicaiton my physician, Jerold Litoff, has put forth. He not fully understood and diagnosed my injuries, but fully explained the cause and rehabilitation procedures.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
