Why nobody is answering the phone and calling back from Simi Valley's office. I left 4 messages already regarding my husband's appointment coming up on July 20, 2021. Unacceptable.

I was in the hospital for a week feeling very ill. Five doctors and all their tests couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. One day Dr Yan, (new to me), said he was reviewing my case and had an idea of what I had. He was correct! Also I had a rare disorder. Dr Yan is a life saver to me! I am constantly amazed at how intelligent and wise he is. His compassionate and caring bedside manner is very genuine. I'm so thankful he walked into my hospital room 11 years ago!

Dr Yan is great, however his office staff is totally incompetent. My telephone messages go unreturned for weeks. They lose my paperwork, and I have to bring new copies or fax lab results multiple times. They are so slow to bill my insurance that my insurer declines to pay them and therefore Dr Yan loses revenue. They mess up appointment times and locations, then have to call me at the last minute to reschedule. So while Dr Yan gets five stars, his staff gets zero stars.

I have dealt with a lot of nephrologists, but he is by far the best and the most educated. He is very patient and genuinely wants to help his patients as much as he possibly can. He goes out of his way to find solutions for problems and help his patients. He is very caring and always has his patient's best interest at heart. He is not just a great doctor, but also a great human being.
