The worst doctor and office staff I have ever encountered! Not only is Dr. Trevedi incompetent, the nurse practitioner is even worse. The care is less than mediocre, it's terrible and I wouldn't trust anything they say. I would never go to this doctor again. Not to mention the office staff is the worst! I had a GI episode over 10 days ago of which I needed to go the hospital. I called the office over 12 times trying to get my files sent to a new doctor. Instead of sending my whole file, they only send part of it. I am still chasing down the rest. I had to go back to the hospital AGAIN and am still trying to get my files sent. I am still in excruciating pain and still unable to get an appt with my new doctor due to the office's lack of response. I called and shared my what's happened and they said they would send over the paperwork right away. An hour later, still nothing. I spoke to the office manager and she couldn't care less about my situation. She said "I'm sorry I didn't send it the second you called." I again shared that I had called the office over a dozen times but again, couldn't care less. Needless to say.....I'm still waiting after she hung up on me. Honestly, I don't know why anyone in this office is in this profession because they don't care about their patients.

I was experiencing horrible stomach pain- thinking the worse of course. Thought I had the worst stomach case because I had pulsing pain and sometimes I was starting to get full so quickly. Dr. Trivedi has two office locations, one in Simi Valley another one in Thousand Oaks. I had 2 office visits and then I was suggested to get a endoscopy procedure in their office in Thousand Oaks CA. I was nervous at first- but everything went so smoothly. The nurses were so nice and caring exactly what you need in that moment moment. The procedure was so fast and I was so happy with how everything went and treated I already recommended someone else who also received an endoscopy and I recommend all of you reading this review!

He is the worsted !! His PA is smarter then him. He scoped me and said everything is fine. I went to another doctor and had surgery for rectal prolapse .

Bad experience w the visit Np said he is dr when I asked his name and he said he is np $$$$ Red flag He took my details and said he can schedule my procedure but I have to pay 350 for anesthesia as dr use private contractor and insurance doesn't cover I said no i can find another dr he said no let metalk tomy insurance guru and one lady came mahe want metonaign some paper which says dr use private contractor and if insurance don't pay I am liable refused to sign and walked out !! Never go to this dr again

Everyone here in the Simi Valley office super helpful and the doctor is wonderful. I hope I don't have to see them often.

The staff is amazing especially the one in rhousand oaks from Shan, Jess & Tanya the Manager they all need a raise.Excellent service.SEAN D

I have never been in a position where I felt the need to write a review for a doctor's office, however my experience with Dr Trivedi was so terrible that I felt compelled to do so. After a bout with diverticulitis, I was referred to Dr Trivedi for a colonoscopy. I had an appointment scheduled on December 24th, and I requested the first appointment of the day given that it was Christmas Eve. I arrived early and was the first person in the office. I waited the 15-minute courtesy of sitting in the waiting room and then asked the receptionist when I would be seen. She stated that the doctor was not in yet and they would call me shortly. I waited another 30 minutes and asked once again, and again received the same response. About 15 minutes later I was called in to the examination room. A nurse took my vitals and told me that the doctor would be in soon. Another 25 minutes went by and as my frustration grew, I walked out of the examination room and asked to find out what was going on. The nurse went into an office directly across from my examination room and started talking to someone. I stood in the hallway and heard her tell the doctor that I was in the exam room and waiting, then I walked backed into the exam room. Dr Trivedi came into the exam room, and jokingly stated that he had been sitting in his office for the past 35 minutes and no one had told him I was waiting. When he saw the look on my face, he quickly changed from joking to apologizing. He asked if I had ever had a colonoscopy in the past, and I told him I had. He checked the chart with my vitals and told me to schedule my procedure with the front desk. He was in and out of the examination room within 5 minutes. I walked to the front desk and told the nurse that I needed to check my schedule before scheduling the procedure, and then left. Needless to say, based on my hour and a half wait for a 5-minute visit, I decided not to move forward with this doctor for my procedure. Two months after my visit I received a statement with a balance of $75. The statement also showed that they had been paid a portion of my billed visit by my insurance. I called the office and spoke to the office manager regarding the bill. I told her about my experience and told her that I did not feel it was fair for them to charge me an additional $75, given they had already been paid by insurance. She informed me that she would speak with the doctor and get back to me. The following month I received another invoice for the amount due. I called back and spoke to the office manager and she informed me that the doctor was dealing with personal family issues and that she had not had a chance to speak with him. This back and forth went on for a few more months, and my frustration level grew stronger. Finally, today I spoke to the office manager again, and she informed me that the best they could do was to offer me a 15% discount on my bill. I have been running a business for over 20 years, one which requires customer service on a daily basis, and I have to say that in all my years I have never treated anyone the way this office did, nor have I ever been treated by any other business this way. I am not someone who is looking for a handout, and I will be mailing my payment of $63.75. I just feel that anyone who is referred to this office should know that they have terrible customer service.

The initial visit for my upper GI endoscopy was planned, I received a phone call that my hospital appointment had to be canceled or I WOULD BE HIT WITH A BIG BILL....this after they recorded 4 insurance's that I have. I had my Humana Case worker call the office to see what the problem was for holding up my needed procedure. The case worker called me back and said the staff was so vague and could not get any straight answers about my situation. This after my Primary doc recommended Dr. Trevedi. I have 4 insurance plans and could not get the help I needed. On top of having simulated panic attacks ending in the ER and extreme blood pressure spikes due to the leg surgery and antibiotics. It is a slap in the face to go to a doctor whose staff want to dump you when you really needed it.

If you need an endoscopy or colonoscopy (and are nervous about tubes being stuck in ya), look no further. A great listener with comforting bedside manner. Explains everything clearly, and takes his time. Had zero complications, and he allayed all my concerns. Highly recommended!
