Dr Yuhas was my father’s doctor and is now my husband’s He is very conscientious

Back in 1993 there was no options to leave online reviews. In 1993 he would not help my step father with pain he was experiencing when his limbs and extremities were turning black . My mother begged him for pain med at 1:30am at Scripps Encinitas . He said "get out of my face , I'm going home and if I get into an accident it's your fault" So when my mother broke her pelvis April 2020 , and moved to Aviara Healthcare for skilled nursing and I was told Dr Yohas would be her doctor , I told the Director I don't want that man near my Mother . What would be the odds , 27 years later , he'd be my mother's doctor ?? Nope not in her lifetime ! Fired . He was replaced with a very competent doctor , Dr Kyle who always took my calls and kept my mother out of pain .

Kind, compassionate and reliable are just a few deserving adjectives. Dr. Yuhas provided many years of competent clinical care for my Mom and also referred her to the amazing people at APREVA Hospice, for which I will be forever grateful. The follow up, empathy and genuine bedside care meant the world. Thank you to Dr. Yuhas and his entire office staff!

Avoid at ALL cost.  I've been going here about 15 years and it's gone downhill.  The women at the front are clueless now and yuhas has a condescending manner and always leaves the door open during the visit.  He even took a personal cell phone call during my exam and I just waited in the room in frustration.  They also screwed up my billing with my insurance costing me hours of phone calls.  Horrible practice in every way.

Dr. Yuhas has been my primary care physician for almost twenty years. He has treated me for many medical problems. Because I have often been exposed to medicine and medical doctors as a result of 35 years as an attorney specializing in personal injury, I think that I am qualified to say the Dr. Yuhas is a truly outstanding doctor. Personally, he is kind, patient, and CARING, often taking the time to listen well beyond the time when other doctors would have ushered you out the door. Not too long ago, my urologist told me to see my primary care doctor or go to urgent care as soon as possible because he suspected that I had Shingles. I immediately called Dr. Yuhas, and he told me to come to his office even though I would not be able to get there until after closing time. He waited for me to arrive, and began successfully treating me for Shingles.

Dr. Yuhas was my mother's doctor for many years and with his care she made it to almost 101 years old. He has also been my doctor for many years. He actually listens to what you are saying and is very thorough in his exams and diagnoisis. I have recommended him and will continue to recommend him. I live in another state, but consider him my primary physician.

Dr. Yuhas is an exceptionally caring and thorough doctor. He engaged with my elderly mother-in-law in such a warm and caring manner which she responded to very well. I feel fortunate to have had Dr. Yuhas evaluate and treat her. I would recommend him to any patient requiring quality care.

I made an appointment to see Dr. Yuhas at 8:30 this morning. I told the nurse practitioner on the phone that i am very sick and that it was very hard for me to come in being that I am very weak and that I cant wait long. She told me that if I came in at 8:30 I would be the first patient and wouldnt have to wait. I have been suffering with a very bad cough which is most likely pneumonia. I also have had other very bad digestive symptoms which made me a few minutes late this morning. I was shocked that when I arrived 10 minutes late, after seeing them take another patient into the room, than 15 minutes later one of the women staff came out and told me " Since you were late we cant see you till 1030 now. I couldnt believe that especially after I told them that it was very bad for me to be outside in my condition that they would want me to wait 2 hours! I left so disappointed because Dr. Yuhas was following me up on another issue and I needed to discuss it with him. In fact I talked to the nurse practioner about that also yesterday and she said the doctor would review all the notes about the other issue with me when I came in today.The first time I want to this office about 2 months ago I also had a bad experience. First they got my appointment time wrong or rather they changed it on me. I came on time and than was told my appointment was for one hour later So I waited one hour before being allowed to go inside and than once inside i waited another one hour plus Dr. Yuhas walked out when he was talking to me after only 5 minutes to see another patient! In spite of this I still thought that Dr. Yuhas was a good doctor because he uses natural means to treat patients and not just drugs. That is the reason I have kept him as my doctor. I think it is his staff that is the main problem. He does what his staff dictate to him to do. The woman who told me to wait till 10:30 for my appointment with such a severe pneumonia aught to really be ashamed of treating a patient like that. I am not sure what I am going to do now since this is the only doctor i have really had since I moved here 4 months ago.
