I did not have a good experience, I did not like that she knew exactly what would be covered during our visit, it was if she ran the insurance, then recommended doing those things that she knew she could bill insurance. I would question something, then she would say well its fine your insurance covers it. She was very cold, didn't explain things thoroughly. The underlying reason for my write up is that she claimed she saw a sun spot on my leg, scares me, saying it could be cancer, then she said I should remove it right now. I came into this appointment for face cream, then she says I may have cancer on my leg. I let her take this spot off of my leg, she doesn't numb me enough at all. I feel the entire thing and she ended up taking a huge chunk out of my leg. The scar is horrible, the experience was horrible. If you can see somebody else, please do. I walked out of this appointment feeling sick to my stomach and completely caught off guard. If you at least need to see her, please have your guard up.

Dr Gilbo’s is a professional and no nonsense dermatologist, I’ve been going to her for years and am very comfortable with her. She is an expert at Botox and fillers and I don’t know why people are giving her such bad reviews! After 30 years with Dr Gilbo’s I would not go to anyone else

DOESN'T CARE ABOUT HER PATIENTS!! I went to this Dr.because I had several problems with my skin. First was a very strange sore-like spot on my chest. I told her that it had behaved very strangely by crusting up, then falling off and crusting up again. I also told her that the skin all around it hurt. She nodded and proceeded to freeze it. It took several weeks to fall off but never really went away. I then started getting red bumps everywhere. The ones on my front upper torso hurt (including the skin around it) and the ones on my back upper torso itched. I told her about this weirdness. She took a biopsy of one blister and order a cream for me. I also told her that the strange thing took several weeks to fall off. She just nodded. When I went back in I had to ask what the results of the biopsy were. She said "some kind of Dermatitis" And that she wanted to do a biopsy on another one before I put any cream on it. I was to call when I got another one and not put cream on it..I did this, showed her the new one but she decided to biopsy a different one. This time, when I asked about the results, she said it wasn't what she thought. She patted me on the back and said "I don't know what it is. Let's just hope it goes away. The cream is helping, isn't it? Then when I requested a refill on the cream I was told that she would refill it again unless I came in..REALLY??? WHY???? You don't know what it is and "The cream works, doesn't it?" I knew I would never go back to her so I made an appointment with another dermatologist. Upon my very first visit she looked and said she thought I had three different issues. She took 3 biopsies, including my original strange spot. Results came back that the one in my chest was the equivalent of STAGE 2 cancer, one of them showed the beginnings of cancer and the last was "Contact Dermatitis", which means I am having an allergic reaction to something. I have since had surgery for the cancer On my chest (with a 3-4 inch scar) and removal of the second one (with a 2-3 inch scar). Last to figure out is what I am reacting to. THANK GOODNESS I WENT TO A NEW DERMATOLOGIST!!!

I’ve been going to Dr Gilbo well over 20 years now, she’s the best and I would not trust anyone else with Botox or fillers she’s experienced and has a very gentle touch. Office staff are friendly and professional.

The first time I saw her I was in tears, and she told me to invest in makeup and wear sunscreen because only time would help me. I'd already been to a slew of other dermatologists who tried everything. Despite this, Gilboa refused to entertain Accutane and instead ordered me two rounds of Minocycline over the two years that I was in her care. It never worked the first time, and I wasn't surprised when it didn't work the second time around. Since then I have been seeing another dermatologist who put me on Accutane for six months, and I'm happy to report that I'm finally acne free no thanks to Dr.Gilboa.

Dr Gilbo’s is a wonderful dermatologist and excellent with Botox and fillers

Dr Gilboa is a great dermatologist very experienced with Botox and fillers, she is very genttle and her staff make you fEel comfortable.
