As a board-certified vascular surgeon, I turned to the Wound Care Center for a leg lesion that would not heal, despite every trick I knew. The expertise from the front desk to the examining room, from the secretaries to the nurses and physicians is excellent. A biopsy skillfully done revealed this would not heal because....it was a basal cell cancer, growing in a cut where a log had jumped into my shin. Instantly, the PROPER treatment was begun and I am well on my way to complete healing. Thanks to this group...Dr. Smith, Dr. Brunell and their dedicated staff.
