Kyi Kyi Thwin Win's Online Review Report Card

Her bedside manner is deplorable. Normally I can ignore abruptness provided that he/she is competent & communicates well. She does not communicate well at all. The last time I saw her, she started out (without even saying something as simple as 'good morning') by telling me how she didn't want me as a patient since I canceled my last appointment & that I'd be cut from their service if it happened again. She typically runs 30+ minutes late (even in the AM) & often spends most of her time either talking to herself, getting interrupted by nurses for other patients needs, or interrupting the visit to go take care of something else, including getting a snack! She doesn't ask any questions about how I am doing, what I might need, or if I have any complaints/symptoms. Instead she says 'good bye' with an angry look in her eye & that is it. Basically communicating "get out of my office!" Not sure why she doesn't change professions. I'm desperately trying to find another doctor....

I have waited in the exam. Room over 1 HR. Each time . Dr. Win has threatened to fire me as her patient twice. Now I am told there is a portion going around the office to bar me from ever coming back. I was turned away for being 6 minutes late after many 1HR. Waits. I ask if my time isn't valuable ? I was accused of yelling. This is consistent bullying and never stops. When I am stressed out. It's way way wrong !

Dr. Win is extremely skilled, thorough, caring, well trained. I cannot say enough about her and her attention to detail. Dr. Win misses nothing, she keeps copious notes and follows up on everything. Frankly, I am amazed by her skills and appreciate her. Grateful she chose this career.

Although i believe her to be knowledgeable and capable, SHE IS NOT a good communicator. Last visit, she did not greet me, simply looked to her board (where her nurse had written my needs down) and started addressing them. Left our appointment without a word. Rather cold. Does not listen to her patient. Continually talks into her mouthpiece or her computer to a virtual person taking her notes. Twice did not respond to Portal questions within 24 hours and only after phone calls to her office did a nurse respond. The timer is set on her phone the second she walks in and is quite visible to the patient. I feel i could receive better care Robotically. On my last visit i was misdiagnosed and prescribed medication i did not need. This was verified by a specialist i saw weeks later. I am looking for a new Doctor.

We have been patients of Dr. Wins for several years. She is an excellent Dr and we trust her with all of our medical issues. Very happy with her and her staff as well.

Th biggest problem is that Dr. Win doesn't listen. She seems to get an idea in her head to what she "feels' is the problem, but if you insert other details that you believe don't fit to her narrative, she ignores you. 3 times, I have had her tell me a diagnois that a specialist (on referral) said was incorrect. (Each time I KNEW they were incorrect, but I never felt one could quibble with her as it seemed as though I needed to be doing what I was TOLD what to do) However I will miss her friendliness and advice other issues.

I write this review in the hope of helping other families avoid the horrible experiences because of by this doctor to not one but 3 of my family members. It would take a thesis paper to fully expose all the issues, it is sufficient to say this doctor is a bully with very poor medical credibility. As long as you are healthy with no issue, there are no problems, however, however the minute you have a health challenge and don’t fit in to her recipe book her ability to treat you with compassion and viability is to be questioned . Frequent and unsubstantiated wrong diagnoses in areas of knowledge that are not her expertise, constant talk of doom, to the edge of malpractice and dish out to those who are at their most vulnerable. If you were not easy, if you have life choices and values, such as avoiding drugs and being conservative/ minimalist, this so-called compassion, listed on her website, turns in to verbal assault. Worse still, she talks about her patients behind their backs, to other patients If you’re looking for a Doctor who will be your true advocate no your behalf, work around your values and truly care by working the system,. If you want someone to care for your aging parent with confidence. That will treat your family with compassion and respect..with hope and never give up...This doctor, Dr. Kiki Win, is not the medical professional you are looking for. Avoid Avoid Avoid. This experience is not from just one elderly parent who is sick, but includes two to 3 other members of my family, who now, go to a doctor worth his weight in gold.
