Worst clinic or whatever it is. I take my mom here and I dislike it so much. The waiting hold on the phone is so long. If you get a call back and the call drops they dont call you back you just have to call again and wait another hour or two. Two times my mom has had to go to the ER because of the incompetence of the doctor. They disregard the health questions. To get approvals they say they will let us know and they never call and when we call they tell us there was no authorizations requested. Horrible horrible horrible There is so much more. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I brought my kids here for the dentist. And its been a year of nothing but cancelled appointments. Only one of my kids was actually treated once. The dentist does good work. But unfortunately they dont know how to organize their schedules. If you wanna waste your time this is the place Oh but dont you dare be one minute late because they will be quick to refuse service and they will be rude about it

The lines are so long. They make you come 15 minutes before your appointment just to wait in line to get in this place. The wait time a front desk is 20 to 25 minutes. Front desk is very understaffed and rude. They need to be retrained. The front desk security are just two women sitting down checking their phones. If it wasnt because I love my childs pediatrician I would not come to this place.

If I Can Give This Location a 0 Star I Would Its just ridiculous how long they make You wait... I been too so many other Altamed locations that are busier amp its way more quicker dont know whats going on with this location But had Terrible experience Wouldnt want to bring My Son Back to this location rather drive more far than have to come here.

horrible el servicio la enfermera que me atendio andaba azotando el aparato de la presion el te la teperatura casi me lo encaja en la boca andaba de mal humor y tratando me con discriminacion no le dije nada por respeto y nomas torciendonlos ojos como que si le hubiera hecho algo y el doctor no quiso cheqar la farmacia si estaba bien se portaron bien malla verdad que deberian de cambiar su staff hacen sentir mal a uno

They didnt want to see my 2 kids 8 9 because its only 1 child and 1 parent at a time. They wanted me to leave 1 of my kids in the waiting room alone. If this is their new method they should of advise us parents when the appointment was made so we can only bring 1 child at a time. My kids were looking forward to their appointment since its theyre 1st time here. What an experience they had. Just hoping Altamed is not this way all the time. I work and had to request this day off and now thanks to their lack of communication Ill need to take another day off. Just like they ask for our punctuality they should provide us with good communication. Altamed South Gate Dental

The clinic is very nice and big and the staff is somewhat friendly I do feel very rushed by the doctor they only come in for like a minute or two and then walk out . I dont feel like they really hear you out and come up with a treatment plan . Communication between clinic and Alta med patient services is not the best either if I receive a call from the clinic I have to call the patient services and asked to be directed to the clinic and they usually dont answer. Doctor just prescribed me medication and didnt go over them with me the precautions or side effects nothing just said take them two weeks and come back . I asked for a referral to a GI and still no updates on that . I tried getting a follow up appointments after ER discharge and even that took months they are way to booked and dont have that many open appointments slots its almost impossible to see your primary care physician.

I had a good experience with the dentist altamed In south gate especially the assistant lizeth.

Came on time for my appointment at 9 and been waiting for almost half an hour

It is a very goodlooking clinic it looks wonderful the problem is that they do not have so many doctors and they have too many people sometimes the doctor only looks at you for about 2 minutes and lets you go it is not a very good clinic in that aspect yes  You do not look for a way for the doctor to look at you she will never make an appointment to know how you are
