First visit was by telemedicine on my smart phone. Dr. Young was pleasant, listened, gave information about echocardiogram, prescribed stress test, seemed caring. I got very good impression and look forward to next visit.

Moved to South Lake Tahoe in June 2019, and therefore changed my cardiologist. For my first visit, Dr. Young spent 40+ minutes with me going through my health history, including getting my input on past care. He listens, is interested, and is always willing to go beyond the basics. He's always willing to keep patients informed, have them make informed decisions, and is willing to take on any new challenged that is not very common for the area he works in. He doesn't neglect the human element to medicine.

Dr. Young is extremely knowledgeable and professional, yet shows genuine concern. He spent as much time as I felt necessary and never made me feel rushed. He thoroughly answered all of my questions, which I had written down. His staff is top notch!! We are very fortunate to have him.

Accuracy in diagnosing a problem. I left not knowing what my condition was, so even through the bedside manner was cheerful, it does not help,overall I did not feel that there was a genuine concern for my condition. Understanding about the heart is a scary feeling, an a big smile does not help with that understanding. Maybe the follow up would have been more informative?
