Reborn Accupuncture is a great place to get massages, accupuncture and cupping. Dr. Justin and Susan are very nice people and very knowledgeable about how to relieve pain in your back. I also like the way Lora and Melly massage - it helps my back not feel so stiff. I am very happy with this place. I even brought my mom here and she likes it too. I work in a lab setting and my mom works in hospital admin. If you are interested in trying out massage, accupuncture and cupping please check this place out. I hope my experience is super unique just to me. Probably not representing your experience. right after I paid over $800 for 10 hours of session package and upfront paid 20% of tips, the owner called me and lectured me of how 20% of tips is insulting.... Also, since my tips are too low (20% of tips), they can't guarantee me of the same therapist next time. Unheard of before? Yeah... same here... I have been trying to find a good place to tackle my issues and wanted to give it a shot here. They are difficult to reach via phone (number listed on Yelp is probably not right. ZocDoc number seems to be owners' cell number and delays are expected). My Waze directed me to an odd place (having issues finding the practice). After some drive arounds, I finally was able to find it. But I was late. I was in a rush (didn't have time to look around the practice) and got into session quickly. Session was okay overall. Mary was okay and pressure was good. Session went alright overall. She was very chatty and conversation was good. I signed up for 10 hours of package right after and paid $650 for 10 hours of sessions and upfronted paid 20% of tips all at once. I left right after the payments went through with the owner and Mary. After dropping more than $800 all at once, I got a 'curtsey' call from the owner within a couple of hours after (early evening), essentially telling me this 20% of tips is too little and borderline insulting to the therapists. Given that I asked to have Mary next time, 20% of tips is too low to secure her time. He went on educating me that if the service was so good, people often paid 30% of more tips. I was speechless. Wow.... I, fortunately, never had the honor to receive a complaint from any business owner about 20% of pathetic tips before and I hope that I will never get such a honorable call in the future. The owner kept on educating me on how they posted the recommended tips (I didn't really had a chance to look around for this tip recommendation, I later found out that it was posted on the desk when you pay, but at a far corner). The owner further tried to shame me on why I am paying tips way below their recommended tip range. Well.... if this is a REQUIREMENT to pay more than 20% of tips to secure any therapist, don't you think it makes sense to disclose when people paid more than $800 to your business just a couple of hours before? Wow! Unbelievable. After a quite intense call, I thought about it, called back and asked for a full refund. The owner agreed quite quickly. I was happy and decided to swing by and get it settled. Later that evening, the therapist used the owner's phone tried to call me, I didn't pick up as it was my family dinner time. The therapist's message was right about tipping is out of my own will and I can decide how much I wanted to tip. She wished me well on my pain recovery process and I appreciate it (message was delivered via text as I didn't pick up). I dropped by the day after. The owner's wife Susan was good on refunding the unused package and we settled from there. She was very apologetic and tried to offer me complimentary therapy session. 1 star to the therapist, 1 star to the wife, and 1 star to the refund settlement. I get that they came in low on service prices. Upfront paying tips doesn't mean that future tips won't be higher after each service. I get that living in Bay Area is challenging and tips need to come in to balance the therapists' pay. But by no means it is OKAY to call your clients after regular business hours educating on how we missed the recommended tips and educated on how people should pay 30% of tips if the service was good. Further lectured me on 20% of tips won't be able to secure the therapist time (never mentioned this before this interesting call). That to me has crossed the line by miles. There are so many different ways to handle the situation. I unfortunately got a courtesy call that went ugly after I dropped more than $800, which came in as a big shock. It feels that I got a big slap right after I paid more than $800 for massage therapy!!! I will not come back.

Lora is the best! I walked in with so much tension in my neck and shoulders but came out like jello. Her vibe is gentle but her hands are strong. I bought the 90 minute massage/cupping Groupon. It was my first time cupping and the doctor explained everything and was patient and kind. Handsdown best Groupon ever. I will be back as a regular customer for more.

Have you ever had a massage so good it makes you cry on the table because you realize how much stress you've been carrying around in your body? Lora is THE BEST and I cant wait to see her again. Her hands somehow find all the trigger points and she knows exactly the amount of pressure to use to relax the muscles. Highly recommend following the massage with cupping for ultimate indulgence. I had the BEST acupressure with Lora, she worked on the muscles on my back and shoulders and it was truly a great experience. I gave up on finding a quality treatment in the US after my trip to Asia, but now I finally found it. Booked my next session right away.

Everyone was nice but Lola was a gem. Very In tune with my body getting every pressure point needed. Even cracked my back and fingers. So Professional and nice. Highly recommend. Plus no pressure for a tip like most do And I was going to go through groupon but they matched my price.
