Referred to Cardiology group in St Helena, a maze of Dr’s and receptionists, took a month to get appt. Driving 5 hours to first appt., 2 stress tests and a Dr visit to give me results of a Holter EKG test. Left at 5:30 am for a 12:30 appt, would arrive 3 hrs early. Dr Ivanavic called me on the drive, asked me why I was seeing him. Told him all that I knew. Said he read the results of Holter test as said I have Heart Flutter and should be seeing Dr Eisenstein, an electrophysiologist, not him. He said when I arrived, he see what he could do to get me into the tests early as well as see Eisenstein (without an appt). Dr Ivanavic met me when I arrived, guided me into the first test right away, met me again and whisked me into Dr Eisensteins office, who is the exact person I needed to meet and then led me to the last test… ALL before 2pm, which was to be my appt with him. I can’t thank him enough for going out of his way to take great care of me. Since then, had procedure, have a NEW LIFE!!!

this dr is spot on , he asked me what was going and listened to me, ordered test stopped one of the meds i'd been taking for a while said it was bad for my heart, increased two meds, and bingo my angina has gone away. love this guy.

Dr. Ivanovic is the best doctor I've ever had in my entire life. He was my cardiologist back in Oak Park, Illinois and I miss him dearly. He saved my mom's life and then took care of me. It was like a family member looking out for me. I've considered even flying to California just to see him. Every one should see him. He's the ultimate professional.

Dr.Ivanovic took care of my mom for over 20 years before moving to CA. He is an amazing and brilliant dr and is incredibly missed and has been impossible to replace. He saved my moms life more than once, as she a rare and special case. He took care of my mom with such integrity and knew her like the back of his hand. He is simply amazing! Even when he wasn’t on call when we had emergencies, he was the one to return our call and it was almost immediately! Chicago sorely misses him as does our family!

Rude as well as very unprofessional! Office help was not able to deal with patients in his absence/ nor should they.

I needed a cardiologist post-haste as i'd recently developed severe AFib. There was an EKG done, but no bloodwork -and with the ECG machine sitting right in the room - nothing done. When i asked about the side effects of metoprolol he became passive aggressive. Almost leaving the room, with his hand literally on the doorknob as he was leaving - he said "i can fix this" and we talked about cardioversion. Said my brain could be mush tomorrow, come back in 6 weeks....

I am glad to have this opportunity to share my life changing experience based on my health and being treated by one of the best cardiolgist in the west-suburban ILL. I was diagnosed with Post Partum Cardiomyopathy 23 years ago. I developed cardiac symptoms after 2 weeks of my daughter's birth and at one point was on the list for heart transplant. So I have known the doctor for 23yrs. to date. He has been my cardiologist with the exception of me leaving the state for a few years. Excellent care!

I have been a patient of Dr Ivanovic for 15 years following my heart attack and bypass surgery. He is extremely competent and up to date with the latest medical changes in cardiology and cardiac medicines. He is very good at explaining complex medical conditions in a way that is both understandable and reassuring.
