I had a heart procedure with Dr Diva. she was very comprehensive in the office and I felt very confident in her training and experience. My complaint is this, I did not see the Dr the day of my procedure, I did not see her the following morning in the hospital before discharge, and I did not see her in the office follow-up visit the next week. For all of those interactions she had me see her nurse practitioner. Maybe it's just me, but I chose to have treatment by Dr Diva and I do not appreciate her passing-off all that care of me on to some one else.

Dr. Divakaruni is excellent in her care and treatment of cardiac issues. I was in my 50's when I discovered that had an inherited ascending aortic aneruism. It was quite a shock because I was a dance teacher and retired professional ballet dancer and nothing can quite prepare you for such information when you have worked your whole life to eat right and exercise. So I was referred to Dr. Divakaruni and she has been so wonderful in explaining everything and she has a very calming manner.

I was not happy about my cardio doc retiring and not happy about the change. I liked this doctor right away. She did not come across a the big shot doctor that scared you the first time you meet. She made you feel at ease and asked all the right questions. She was right on it about my blood-work and she was good with my continuing to dance. Dance is important to me and I did not want to not dance because of my stent. She gets an A plus.
