My Dad was seen by this Dr. for a liver issue and when he ended up in the emergency room didn’t even have the decency to call us back!! It took 2 days for the receptionist to call only to make an appointment 2 weeks later!!! I think 28 different locations is just too much for one Dr. to handle.

My husband would not be here today without Dr. Ahmed. He is a very kind and compassionate care giver. He has treated my husband for 20+ years. We were finally gifted with the gift of life - a liver by our hero an unnamed donor. Dr. Ahmed's quality care he gave my husband enabled him to be healthy enough to receive an organ. Through the progression of my husband's disease, Dr. Ahmed met ever challenge with his expertise and treated his many health problems which arose due to his liver failing. I highly recommend Dr. Ahmed and can attest to his genius. We were truly blessed by having him as my husband's doctor and savior.My husband would not be here today without Dr. Ahmed. I have been a patient of Dr Ahmed’s since 2008. In such a large facility as Stanford I have found the Dr. Ahmed and his staff to be caring and competent. Dr. Ahmed has a on outreach program where he travels to the central coast to see patients. This enables people are unable to make the trip to Stanford receive his expert care. Thank you Dr Ahmed. Dr. Ahmed , and his staff, are the best. They all listen carefully and treat me with respect. He knows the liver so well, he could probably transplant one blindfolded. They all fought the insurance company, like bulldogs, to get me the approval for the expensive medications I needed. They cured me of a disease that was ruining my liver. It took me awhile to find Dr. Ahmed because at first I had trouble finding someone who was knowledgeable and competent. I'm really lucky to have found him.
