List of Anson Lee's Reviews
My mother is a patient of his and her complicated surgery was not only successful, but he continues to monitor her progress years later. Blessed for the years he has given her. Lucky to have had one of the VERY BEST surgeons in CA looking after her.
The review feature showing amazing ratings for him wasn’t even on his Stanford profile three months ago. Trust me, I’ve researched him millions of times within these last six months. He and his team could have “accidentally dropped a piece of cloth” into my mom’s chest cavity during surgery, causing her to have a stroke and heart attack. She was in a coma with her chest open, without any painkillers, for 10 days before they pulled the plug. We never even gave consent. They just pulled the plug on a random day without any loved ones there. This is legal in California, so be careful. Another doctor on the team tried to remove the covering on her open chest to show my sister how much she was suffering so that we’d consent. No thanks - you guys dropping a piece of cloth in there was traumatic enough. Just don’t go to him. Ever. I wish my mom had paid attention to the other killings mentioned below.
He killed my mom. Stay clear.
He talks the talk for sure but its all a facade. He has ruined our family members heart with basic clinical errors on a disease that is surgically fixable. So shocked Stanford stands for this level of incompetence. Even his colleagues now admit they had reservations about his skills. I promise you, you’ll live longer if you stay away from this one.
A true dedicated wonderful surgeon. Performed double lung transplant for my sister Rosemary. Every hour we received an update which made our wait so much more manageable. What an incredible hospital with dedicated professionals. Thank you for saving her life.
His entire team is knowledgeable, compassionate, relatable and just what one would expect from a Stanford Medical Team.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
