Dr Hwang was able to talk ‘technical’ with my husband, ie. wattage, probe, etc. yet very easily answer my questions about sedation and pain like a girlfriend over coffee. She was thorough and generous with her time and scheduling. After surgery she made a point to come see me and was very comforting. Most important, she successfully zapped my tumor.

This doctor completely damaged me. She was supposed to wait for another doctor to install a surgical drain, but instead decided to do it herself. I asked why not wait and she said 'well, it isn't rocket science'. But for her it WAS. She hit a nerve in my leg. I have had the most terrible pain and nerve damage for the last 3 months. Now I"ve had to see 6 or 7 different doctors. I may recover from this, but it is not certain. This has been a disaster. I can hardly walk. And she never accepted responsibility for what she did--kept saying it was my back, until a real nerve doctor verified that she had hit my nerve. This lady's competence cannot be trusted.

She installed a surgical drain in me. She was supposed to wait for a more experienced doctor but got impatient. When I asked about that she said "it's not rocket science'. But for her it WAS. She hit a nerve in my leg. I have suffered with the most severe pain and nerve damage for 3 months now and have had to see 6 or 7 more doctors. I may recover but this has been the most awful experience, all because she didn't know what she was doing. And she never took responsibility for what she did. told my doctor that it was just my back. Don't trust this doctor to get it right.
