My parents have gone to this scammer who calls himself a doctor for years. This "doctor" kept NO medical records for all these years and REFUSED to give medical records to other hospitals. This place is a fraud that takes advantage of older patients that don't know better. Avoid at all cost!!
I have only seen Dr. Kim twice. My latest appointment was on the 1st of May 2014. I really wish I had seen the other reviews because I never would have gone to him to treat my Type II diabetes and hypothyroidism. The other two reviewers are right! Both Dr. Kim and the receptionist are the rudest supposedly medical professionals I have ever encountered! I am very well informed about my conditions and have a lot of healthcare workers in my family. Not only have I received substandard treatment since coming here, some of my symptoms have gotten worse. Not only do these people insist on ignoring whatever is going on with their patients, they refuse to even discuss any problems. The first time I saw him, I had hope for great treatment and improvement. The second time, they were rude, insulting, and couldn't get me out of there fast enough. The doctor changed my medication and didn't schedule a follow-up appointment for 2 months. I immediately started to have problems. But when I called the office to let them know that it couldn't wait another 7 weeks, they didn't want to change my medication or deal with me at all. When I needed to ask the doctor a question, I was rudely told that I had already spoken to him and would not be allowed to speak to him again. DO NOT GO HERE! Needless to say, I am now in search of another Endocrinologist.
THE WORST PLACE TO GO TO!!!! Both my mother and my father has been to this practice to get their thyroid imbalance checked. The receptionist/triage nurse is the absolute rudest and cockiest woman ever. She disrespects patients and not to mention does not know how to retrieve blood in the gentlest manner. In the process of her taking blood from my mother's hand she repeatedly punctured the back of her hand and in the process hit one of her nerves. My mom has since then expressed pain and numbness in moving her fourth finger and when she called in to the nurse again she said it happens all the time and it will go away soon. BULLSHIT. My mom's finger has been like this for 1 year and a half now. My dad went in to get diagnosed to and in the process he was shocked at how rude this triage nurse was. MIND YOU there are only two nurses and only one the same one who messed up my mom's hand takes blood. After the worst experience ever my father has told the nurse that they should not talk to their patients that way and warned them that they had just lost Two Patients. The infamous nurse snickered and said it's okay we have plenty more. WHAT A B1*#* . Although I don't know what good my post would do...future patients don't come here. Look for someplace else where health care officials love treating their patients and value their worth. These people here do not care about patients lives. More than anything I think that nurse needs to get replaced. She is rude to patients, lacks the skills to treat patients, and tries to dodge any consequences of her actions.
I know this may not apply to everyone that has seen him but for me he is the worst Doctor I have ever seen. I was super excited going into this consultation because I thought I was finally going to get answers about my Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and guidance. This was my first time ever meeting with an Endocrinologist and had high expectation to getting more information to my problem. I had an appointment and was seen within a few minutes. I was sent into his office (not sure if that was his exam room) but I felt like I was doing a job interview. Anyways I was seated at his desk and basically he just looked at my blood test and asked about how I was controlling my diabetes. Blah Blah and I told him that I was happy with my primary doctor caring for my diabetic needs, I actually was referred here for PCOS, I am trying to have children soon and wanted to know what my options are. His response "No cure". He didn't give me any info and basically that's how my visited ended. He didn't exam anything just read a bunch of clinical notes from my primary doctor and sent me on way. I know there are far more caring Endocrinologist in Los Angeles, I really do not recommend Dr. Kim. Just to note there is no cure for PCOS but there are options you can take to control it and he clearly either did not want to tell me about it or does not know about it.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
